Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

So glad Cirie got voted out. In fact, I'm glad the Heroes keep losing. I wouldn't mind seeing all of them go. Except for Colby though.

I have to say that no player has really managed to become my favorite this season. The two players I´m liking best at the moment are Tom on the heroes side and surprisingly Boston Rob on the villain side.

Coming into this season I expected to dislike Rob as much as I did in the first all star season but so far he is the only thing keeping the villains alive and he really does deserve credit for stepping up to the plate and leading his tribe.

I hope the Villains won't force Russell into using the idol or throw it into the ocean. That could come in handy when the merge comes. Unfortunately, this plan hinges on Russell's tunnel-visioned gameplay that all but consists of having idols in his pocket and little else.

I haven't picked who I want to win yet, but probably someone from the Heroes side. I'm glad Cirie is gone, I never could figure out why anyone liked her the first time around.

What the **** are the Heroes doing?!

I still can't get over the Heroes' attitudes during the reward challenge. WTF!?! Colby getting into it with Probst...and then COLBY is the one who sat out the challenge after saying how 'focused they are on winning'?

And...

:lmao: at James calling for the Heroes in the immunity challenge!

::shrug::

It was pretty much a toss up on who to vote out tonight. There wasn't a clear reason to keep either one.

Using the "we need to keep the strength" excuse is pretty moot now since everyone on the Heroes tribe sucks in the challenges so it really doesn't matter who goes when.

Might as well start playing your own personal game now and keep around your alliance mates and votes you can control (James) and get rid of any threats to your alliance. (Tom)

Colby and Probst's "argument," was probably editted to seem worse than it was and in reality was probably little more than playful ribbing. Apparently the two are very close friends outside of Survivor, so I doubt it was anything serious.

As for the Heroes, I'm rooting for them to win, just because the villains seem like their tribal councils will be far more interesting. The heroes tribal council is little more than chickens cutting their own heads off.

I just want the Villains to have to go to Tribal so they can either get rid of Russell or Courtney (aka Most Useless Player Ever).

I'm still blown away by how well the Villains are working together!

I thought the same way at first before the show started but once it got started it wasn't so hard to believe. There are a lot of egos on the Heroes tribe and the villains for the most part have personalities that seem more passive, except for maybe Boston Rob the rest are kind of behind the scenes manipulator types.

Once again, I'm disappointed with the editing this season, specifically on the Villains tribe.

Why do they keep shoving Russell down our throats when there are far better and funnier characters on the Villains tribe to give airtime too?! Jeez, Sandra, Tyson, Courtney are three of the funniest ones on that tribe and yet they've been completely neglected in the editing just so we can watch Russell talk about how great of a player he is or hear that stupid dragonslayer bs from Coach.

We only heard from Parvati when she was talking about Russell, and Jerri at least got some meaningful screentime. It's just annoying.

I know Im late but thank god Cirie got her azz played in the last episode. I was LOL when that happened.

Sad to see Tom go but at least it wasnt James. I felt so bad for him bc I thought he was out. I fear he will be gone soon though

And how did JT get on the heroes team? He is such a snake!

I found Tom to be very hyprocritical this season, specifically when saying that James was a bully and had no class.

Wasn't Tom the same person that bullied Ian into quitting at the final three during Palau by threatening to not be his friend anymore if he didn't let Tom go to the Final Two??! I never bought into his "I'm a nice guy" shtick.

I always thought he was a downlow *****e and irked me so much when he started talking about "the good people." I hate when people start that crap on Survivor.

I'm so glad Tom got the boot. For some reason he really annoyed me from day one. And based solely on how they portrayed him this season the guy seemed like a elitist *****e bag, from the way he used to talk and look down on James.

I'm also sliding off the Russel bandwagon. I want to like the little troll but his rantings about how great he is and blah blah is getting annoying. He hasn't done anything this season to show me he is justified in his bluster.

I'm really loving Amanda this season, purely on physical beauty. She is just so cute. But Danielle is just hot!

I liked how Amanda called Tom out on his hypocrisy at Tribal Council with his "keep the tribe strong" mantra. If he and his alliance wanted to keep the Heroes tribe strong, than why were they targetting Amanda during the second episode, when they still had Cirie on the tribe. She's my favorite female player, but she is not a good challenge performer, so logically they should have been targetting her.

They weren't because they were playing strategically in targeting Amanda just like the other alliance was playing strategically in targetting Stephenie. both were playing the numbers game, but Tom wants to try and keep his good guy Hero shtick going.

I'm not a fan of Amanda at all, but glad she called him on it.

I've been wondering the same thing! We've BARELY seen Sandra, Tyson, and Courtney. I'm just so sick of them throwing Russell at us. He is not that interesting!!!

I was also glad to see Amanda calling out Tom.

Tyson gets his weekly joke in, and Sandra and Courtney are boring.

Another thing that made me roll my eyes was Coach kneeling down in front Russell and in turn, being knighted.

:barf:

I think that a lot of the villains are trying to play the "under the radar" game which is why we don't get to see a lot of them. I also think that the editors knew that there would be a lot of drama between Rob and Russell so they've been building up for it all season.

I personally think that not voting out James was a mistake, he clearly can't compete and might even do himself further injury if a challenge gets physical. Even if he wasn't going home due to popularity then it would have made sense to send Candice home since some challenges demand equal numbers of men and women so James could have sat out those.

Sandra and Courtney boring...uuuh what? Did you miss Pearl Islands and China?! They are woot.

And Tom sums up Russells gameplay perfectly in his post show interviews:

What about Russell, the new kid that nobody knows?
Tom: I only know what everybody else has seen. The uncanny ability to find Idols is like getting old now. He's a little delusional. He is that guy who plays a great game but not a winning game. A great second place game. I would love to play the game with him because you know you'll beat him, just about anybody can beat him in the end. He's a one dimensional player.

:hehe:

Tom is a lot more likeable in his post-show interviews than he was on the show. At least he owns up to the mistakes he made in the game, like Cirie did last week in her post show interviews. I think Tom screwed up majorly in two areas:

A) Ostracizing Cirie the first day out there. Cirie mentioned in her post show interviews that she was not allied with James/Amanda/JT/Rupert and wanted to ally with Stephenie and by extension Tom, but when Tom targeted her at the first and second TC she put a kisbosh on that. Cirie/Tom together running an alliance would have been unstoppable physically and strategically.

B) Trusting JT. How could anyone trust him so much after he backstabbed his alliance last week??

Silly mistakes.

I really want to see Rupert go. He's bugging the **** out of me.
