I was so hoping Stephanie had won tonight! Dammit! Matt is a nice guy but he is just so dull personality wise and brings absolutely nothing to the show.

Thank gosh Sarita left!! She really thought she was running that place, to the point where she didn't even bring her stuff to Tribal Council. :hehe:

I'm ridiculously pro-Matt at this point. That guy has fought for his survival in this game week after week and has come up the victor five times in a row. That's pretty damn impressive.

Phillip.... there's really nothing to say at this point.

I'll genuinely be surprised if he doesn't try to murder another tribemate at some point.

Wouldn't that be crazy if Sarita of all people took him out at the last challenge, though?

That would be such b.s. for Matt to go down like that . You never know though he could of easily lost tonight's challenge. It's not hard to imagine him going back to his tribe because of Andrea but there's no way he won't be gunning for Rob. It would be funny if Matt's streak continued through the individual immunity challenges though.

-I can easily see Phillip kinda getting Shambo'd into Zapatera, where he's welcomed and gets all "the crispy." Can't you see Steve sitting with him by the fire and giving him all the respect he wants. And Marine Dude there too sharing war stories with him.

Phillip is destined for something like this.

Speaking of merge I wonder if Matt or Sarita get a free pass for the first tribal

Haha, how is Phillip still here?

I like how Rob called him "the most unaware person I've ever met". And he's been on a tribe with Coach.

Because his tribe keeps winning. It's probably better that way, honestly. When he goes, I want it to be final. I dont want him to get the chance to get back in the game.

At least Phillip gets a jury speech now.

"As a former federal agent and expert in human behavior, I don't need to ask any questions, because I already know the answers".

Ding dong the witch is gone.

Hopefully when they merge David flips and they start taking out the rest of that useless tribe.

Go Matt Go! I'm rooting for him to win the whole thing, hopefully Sarita doesn't pull a horseshoe out of her ass and wins the duel next week.

edit.

Is Ralph that stupid? Didn't know what cohesive meant?:facepalm:

Pretty entertaining episode last night.

Phillip continues to entertain me. If I had to actually deal with that guy, he'd drive me absolutely insane, but he's fun to watch. I also agree with Harry_Lime, so glad Phillip will at least get his jury speech. It will be fun to watch him use his "interrogation" skills.

Also, is it possible that Ralph could possibly be that dumb? He's becoming equally entertaining with his stupidity. I'd be real curious to see how he actually spells his own name. Ralf??

The only thing is, Matt has already said that he will go back to being Rob's pawn if he makes it back into the game. How can one person be that stupid? He may be fun to root for due to his hard work and strong level of competition, but should he come back, he brings nothing back into the equation. That's why I was rooting for Stephanie.

I'm with you. Phillip is effin hillarious. As for Ralph, he's not even likable dumb like Rupert or Big Tom. He's an unlikable, arrogant, moron.

Tonight was the Boston Rob show, once again. :whatever:

Boston Rob narrates a long segment where he explains how he's turning the group against Phillip.
Phillip can't have the crispy rice because Boston Rob wants the crispy rice.
Once again Boston Rob is the only one to look for the clue and once again he gets it without anyone noticing.

I really believe that these tribes were set up by the producers with this in mind. Granted, they had no idea which of the two returning players would go to which tribe as it was random draw, but they basically set it up so one would be treated like a king and the other would be voted out immediately (and get a chance to make a stand on Redemption Island).

I really hope not. This is the first time I'm actually rooting for Matt.

Does anyone think the duels are too easy? Tying sticks together and stacking dominoes is enough to get you a spot back in the game? And tonight's duel was basically luck more than anything. I wanna see them earn it.

I don't think they're too easy. I think they're fair. When they first announced the duels I was concerned that it would be nothing but a 'strength' thing...and that's not fair to physically weaker players. This way, everyone is on an even field.

I agree about Ralph. He could be one of those lovable country types we've seen in the past, but he comes across way too cocky and pretty much a jerk.

It makes laughing at him (and how dumb he is) that much easier, and quite frankly, rather enjoyable.

Ralph may be playing a better game than we give him credit for since it's hard to believe that anyone considers him a threat at this point. If he is deliberately playing up the dumb hick persona then he deserves kudos, if not then.... :)

I hope Matt makes a clean sweep and returns to the game, hopefully he will turn against Rob or at least work as a catalyst for Robs tribe to change.

It's going to be interesting to see which way the pendulum swings tonight. If Matt plays his cards right he could break up the Grant/Boston Rob dynamic. Also can't wait to see Phillip interact with new people .. should be amusing.

Matt is an idiot and Rob is even dumber. The guy just gave him complete loyalty and Rob in turn wants to vote him out.

Well, who made the dumbest move of the night? Ralph, Rob, Matt, or Andrea? Let the debate begin.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

That was PERFECT!

The look on his face was hillarious. But strategically, I just don't see the value in it. If they vote out Steve, then Matt jumping ship doesn't matter, Rob still has the numbers. And that is worst case scenario. Best case scenario Rob has a loyal foot soldier.

Matt, easily. He should've flipped and not told Rob anything.

Andrea. Why wasn't she playing Matt like the puppet he so desperately wants to be? That was a guy that would have given her the immunity necklace if she wanted it. She let him meltdown instead of taking control of the situation. The game is playing her.

I'm going with Matt as a close second. He played everything wrong. He had the opportunity to get revenge on Rob who never trusted him, get with a guy he can probably trust in Marine Mike which would have assured him at least a few more weeks in the game instead of RI, and what does he do? He spills his guts to Rob, basically saying that he wants Rob gone but God doesn't want Rob gone, and then he threw Andrea under the bus by saying she was going along with him and God too.

What Rob did wasn't necessarily dumb. Put Matt on Redemption Island ASAP, and get him out of the game. Probably should have waited one tribal council though.

Ralph,. It wasn't a good situation for Zapatera, and he arguably did right in trying to make a save for his alliance.

If they had just voted out Steve, Matt still could have flipped and convinced Andrea at a later time and Ometepe would have been screwed anyway.

I think it was lose/lose for Rob and Ometepe either way.

I'll agree that he should have waited one week. Get Steve out and then send Matt to face him. I can see wanting to get Matt out early due to his acumen as an individual challenge specialist, but there isn't going to be a duel before the next Tribal Council, so get Steve out and then Matt.

Matt, easily. He should've flipped and not told Rob anything.

We know Matt is naive, but where is Andrea protecting him and telling him to shut up? She let her closest ally blah himself out of the game when she should have been dictating his strategy. I mean, how hard is it to tell him, "God is a vengeful, jealous God. He wants Rob gone." He would have eaten that crap up.

Rob might of done something crooked but it was only a matter of time. I think Matt should of known better. Andrea on the other hand is a dingbat , I'd like to know what her plan to make it to the final three is because it's not happening. Ralph.. I don't even know what that was.
