Sounds like Rob will come to his senses.

And Rob makes the same mistake that he made the last time that he went this far in the game. What an effin' moron. This episode basically guarantees that Natalie walks away with the million and goes down along side the likes of Vercepia and Sandra as one of the most useless winners ever. How does he not realize that Natalie will win in a land slide?

Why is Rob doing these stupid, unnecessary blindsides?

Because if he is honest then Grant may talk to Phil, and then they may take what they know and go to Ashley and Nat and suddenly everything will blow up in Rob's face.

Because he wants her out and she's wise to it. She has to get there first.

She's not as smart as you're giving her credit for.

Also, they've waited too long to bring back the R.I. player. At this point, all that the dominant three alliance needs to do is stick together and they will be voted out instantly. They should've brought the person back this week when a move could be made.

Not buying it. Grant wouldn't be able to scramble. Phil is wise to he and Rob needing each other and Natalie won't rock the boat with him, especially with Ashley safe. To me, the past two weeks, Andrea and Grant were in inoperable positions and it really isn't necessary to blindside them and cost yourself a vote.

I didn't say she was smart, I was putting a potential strategy out there that she could implement before the commercials ended. Instead she went with following Rob's orders again while being content with another few days on the island.

But you're being a Monday morning quarterback. In a game where information is power would you really risk giving someone the gun with which to shoot you (so to speak) when you are a few days away from a 1 in 3 shot at the million?

All this hype over R.I. and eventually it amounts to nothing , lol. Natalie would be crazy not to want Phil or Rob beside her at the end.

Wow that was the dumbest vote ever.

Another worthless winner is poised to win again.

Exactly. Natalie will continue to play the role of innocent pawn while the R.I. returnee (probably Mike or Grant) and Ashley are given the boot.

Phillip will claim that his craziness was an act. No one will buy it. Rob will claim that he played the best game. No one will care. Natalie will play little miss innocent, saying how riding coattails is a brilliant strategy. No one will buy it but they will vote for her because she is the one that they resent the least.

I never thought I'd be cheering for Ashley in a challenge, but I was, just to disrupt Rob's smooth sailing.

Ralph is a jerk for not letting Andrea sleep in the shelter. I don't care if it's "payback" or whatever, you're a grown-ass man and she's a 21-year-old girl.

He had such a big lead in that duel too, but he screwed up the puzzle because he can't spell.

Yep.

I don't think that Phillip can win, even if its all been an act.

Rob can't win at this point. People aren't star struck anymore. Plus, I'd argue that he's not very deserving anyway. He only made it this far because people were star struck.

I'd argue that even the Redemption Island person, regardless of who they are does not deserve a win. A player shouldn't win if they were incapable of being voted out. The name of the game is Survivor. They don't deserve the win over someone who survived, regardless of how bad their tactics were.

I might be inclined to believe this if the girls weren't presented the same plan by Steve just days before and brush him off at once and report every detail to Rob. Andrea and Grant were in the Steve position.

It's only 1 in 3 if it's random and unfortunately for Rob it isn't random.

I don't think we can say RI is a total bust just yet. It can be argued that the three best competitors and the best female competitor are currently there, and whoever comes back stands a very good chance to make F4 with an immunity win, and at that point could possibly get something going with Ashley/Natalie. I doubt it, but it's a possibility.

My biggest criticism with Redemption Island is that if you're going to have four people staying on the Island, with three winners at each duel, then you should bring at least two back into the game. It's made it too easy for someone to finish 2nd or 3rd and hang around every single week. Matt really shouldn't be around, but they made it so he can continue to play even though he's been voted out twice and lost three duels.

I know I've said this a couple of times before but I absolutely hate what Rob has done to this season. :csad:

I think this pretty much sums it up - I completely agree.

I thought it was hilarious that Ralph blew the RI challenge because he can't spell. It was painfully obvious that's what was holding him up. There was almost literally spoke coming out of his ears.

I guess I'd give RI another season, but my gut reaction is that it was unnecessary. I don't really like the amount of time devoted to it each week.

The thought of Natalie winning it all pleases me. Not that I want her to win, I just want to see Rob lose. He's ruined this entire season, and I'd rather not see his presence rewarded with one million dollars.

Jeff Probst's thoughts on Natalie winning:

Probst said:
Natalie – Can’t win. If Natalie wins, then the jury should be taken to a small stream and dunked repeatedly until their bellies fill with guppies. I think Natalie did a good job and probably learned a lot about strategy from her mentor. But it’s not nearly enough.

Probst must have forgot when players like Natalie, Sandra, Vercepia, and Amber won. I'd argue that he is trying to mislead his blog viewers because he knows that Natalie wins and wants to divert people from the obvious result. Either that or Probst is blinded by his Rob man-crush. There is no way that Rob wins this game. The jury hates Rob just as much as they hated Russell during Samoa and Heroes vs. Villains. Every blog he rants about how great Rob is and how Rob is the most deserving. He seems to ignore the fact that Rob wouldn't have lasted five minutes if he couldn't play the celebrity card to a tribe that was stacked by producers to be star struck.

Since the finale is on sunday, I've gone ahead and added the 'winner' poll. Please be sure to vote!

Ashley and Natalie are coattail riders.

Rob is only in the position that he's in because the game was stacked in his favor.

The Redemption Island player does not deserve to win simply by the merit of having been voted out and therefore did not survive.

There is only deserving winner at this point....and it is strange to say, but Phillip deserves it. That said, Natalie probably WILL win it (unless Ashley can win another two immunity challenges in a row).

Probst has lost alot of my respect this season.

On one hand, I feel like he has coddled to Rob just as much as the players in Ometepe. On the other hand, I feel like he is working with what he was given so I'm mixed.

I think we're getting another coattail winner and it will most likely be Natalie. I think too many spite Phil and I'm sure the Zapatera don't have much appreciation for Rob.
