Great, Rob has even more power. The Russell rule is officially pointless. The idols can be found with one clue or no clue. They need to change the rules for the idol entirely. One idol in each camp and at the merge. Once its found, its gone.

Ralph's family must be humiliated by his stupidity. :(

Also, the defense attorney on Zepatere, I think his name is David needs to work over Russell's girls. They are in a very weak position and can easily be turned into loyal foot soldiers. Ralph, Mike, Steve, and Zarita have too much power. He is the odd man out. He needs to flip those two and blindside Ralph.

I cannot believe the idols were so easily found...

Thank goodness that they implemented the Russell Rule, eh? When a moron like Ralph can find an idol without clues, something is wrong.

Weren't the idol clues from this past season only pictures and images because of the 'Russell' rule? Are they back to words?

I believe so. Like I said, they need stop replanting them and instead go with one idol per tribe per game.

They are finding those idols way too easy. Not sure they should be placed again after being used (or at least make it unknown).

I kind of agree with you Matt ... One idol each tribe and then at the merge. At least see how that works.

I think I'm actually starting to go crazy ... I'm beginning to like Phillip. He's bat **** crazy, but I find him so entertaining. I also don't think he's necessarily mean spirited like past crazies, just a serious goofball. I don't know, I think I actually like the dude.

I felt bad for Russell when he broke down. He's right those idiots didn't go into the game to win, they went there to make a name for themselves the thing is no one will remember them after this season except for maybe Ralph because he's so damn stupid.

dang, Phillip survived....again

I didnt feel sorry for Russell. Its a game adn one he's played 3 times. Time to go home and I hope he never comes back

I almost felt bad for Russell until I remembered that this is his third time playing this game and the enormity of his ego dwarfs the size of Texas.

Ralph got punk'd by someone who was out of the bleedin' game. This makes his decision to go along with the split vote last week even more bizarre.

I thought they might go against him tonight and vote out Phil but it looks like he'll have a tight hold on them until it's too late.

I love how Rob didn't even care when he heard Russell was out. This "Rob vs Russell" concept was a big, fat FAIL. The season looks good apart from that though. The cast is pretty strong and I'm sure Redemption Island will head somewhere interesting. I'm rooting for Kristina next week.

Also - sorry for all these posts in a row, I keep forgetting stuff - was that the worst challenge ever, or what? It was the most shameless product placement so far and seemed tailor-made for Ralph's skill set. Never did I think they'd be desperate enough to do a challenge revolving around who can hammer a nail into a plank of wood faster.

I like Phillip. Like you said, he is crazy but seems good hearted. Meanwhile, Ralph is a dumb ass who also seems very mean spirited. The whole Zepatere tribe does, to be honest.

Also, whether you like or hate Russell, you still have to give him credit. I just read that he left his first game in July of 2009 (after final tribal council). He lost at Redemption Island in August 2010. That means in the period of one year, he played 3 games. That has to take a toll both physically and mentally. You may not like him, but damn....that is intense.

The funniest thing about Russell is that he would have done the exact same things if he had been in the other players shoes so I say that he reaped what he sowed. Russell was so in love with his play style that he couldn't shift gears and try something else. Clearly he failed to realize that his style only worked two times because the players in the second game hadn't seen him play.

The idols are an interesting thing. Clearly the producers don't want them to be to hard to find since they do create a lot of tension and options for players who have them, all of which makes for good tv. I personally feel that the idols should be buried so that people can't just stumble on them, they have to be actively looking for them with some idea about the location.

Ralph... I said Kudos after last show for not showing the idol but now he's gone and ruined it. It's never a good idea to reveal that you have the idol when your in the majority since players get paranoid real easy and start talking about the idol holder having to much power. This is so going to come back to bite him in the rear.

I don't feel bad for Russell at all. The fact of the matter is that his tribe outplayed him and Matthew beat him. (Fair and square.)

Oh, what a glorious episode last night was. Bye Russell, you will not be missed.

I wish Sarita had just walked down during the duel and just gave him a nice slap in the face. You can't berate your tribe for throwing the challenge to get your disgusting tail out of the game, when just three seasons or so ago, you were burning people's socks and sabotaging your own tribe to the point where they lost every single pre-merge challenge except one!

What a hypocrite. So happy he's off my television screen.

It's really too bad they even included Rob and Russell in this season. I think having them has overshadowed a pretty interesting cast. I think it would have been interesting to see how things would have played out without those two. Still, it's been very entertaining and can't wait to see things play out.

When will Boston Rob have his day?

Right now it looks like he has a good position on his tribe but he said in next week's preview he wants to keep Philip so I can see them turning on him for various reasons.
