Nobody sees Hillary Swank's movies. Million Dollar Baby was a one hit wonder.

^ Boy's Don't Cry was great, Million Dollar Baby was great too. She's had great roles and lousy roles like uhhh The Core. LOL The Next Karate Kid, etc...However she has grown and her roles have gotten better...not worse. Hilary Swank by herself is not someone who would be a box office draw however mix her in with the rest it just adds more power to the cast.

Great news, I suspected as much some time back when Jon down played the rumors, I've said from day one, he likes to play word games with his comments.
Sam Jackson as Nick Fury is awesome and have Hilary Swank is just outstanding, we'll have to wait and see what role she has, no matter how small.

It's definitely a plus to have critically acclaimed actors on board...it makes critics less likely to just dismiss the film as "another comic-book movie..."

I think that we're essentially looking at the beginning of a new era of comic book movies. I mean, starting with X-Men (or arguably Blade), we starting get superhero films that could make money, but starting with Batman Begins, it's becoming more commonplace for studios to hire top-notch actors for superhero films, the other major example of this trend being The Incredible Hulk, which also has a kickass cast.

When Jon mentioned the cameo's he did so in the same sentence, and added his cameo as the second thought - he said one wasn't true. I think Sam and Hilary are great additions to an already amazing cast.

i don't think we have to take the Jackson/Swank comments with a grain of salt.. as deceptive as Arad was about Galactus, it's at least debatable whether he was a cloud or was just in the cloud.. but there's no way to get around this comment about Jackson and Swank. "Oh man, i think i see Sam Jackson behind that waterfall! hey, is that Hilary Swank swirling around in that tornado?"

hmm interesting news. Since they're going for the Ultimate Nick Fury, I assume Swank would be Black Widow. But I wouldn't be surprised with she plays Contessa.
