Logan seems to naturally be attracted to women who don't take his BS and can put him in his place, it's an interesting facet to his character. Storm is a prime example of this (Logan/Mariko and Logan/Storm are my two favorite Wolverine couples, not sure which I prefer more). Mariko needs to come back in a future X-movie, I don't care which one (Yukio to). She was great.

He was still pretty hung up for Jean Grey throughout most of the film. Many have stated that there was a lack of chemistry between the characters...but I think he was pretty enthralled by her beauty when he first saw her.....someone needs to screencap his expression...at least that's what I thought when I saw the film

Your average CBM or movie in general would have had them knock boots the first night they had the chance in the love hotel, but Mangold took the time to develop their relationship first to make it far more believable. Not heard anyone mention a lack of chemistry either.

Someone suggested that X-23 could be Mariko and Logan's daughter, or perhaps Daken is their son. I think that this COULD potentially work (Stryker and Weapon X would work as well), you're thoughts.

As a HUGE fan of X-23 character, if they ever decided to bring her to the big screen, i hope they won't alter her origin.

I LOVE X-23 as well, her origins, background, and struggles are some of my favorite. I was just mentioning how they may simplify her past if they chose. Personally, Stryker being the one who created her could work. You could still have her origins and background from the comics, you'd just change the mastermind.

I know. As much as I like to see Jean and Wolverine share scenes, I feel like he didn't really fall for Mariko, because this whole entire time he had been working to get over Jean Grey. I think he is attracted to Mariko (come on, who wouldn't) But did he fall deeply in love with her?....I wasn't convinced....and not because that there was a lack of chemistry, it just didn't fit into the personal journey he went through in this film...

Yeah...her origin story was actually done alot better than Wolverine's IMO.

Exactly. Those two couldn't be anymore different, personaly/character wise.Even their fighting style is different.

Yeah, Stryker was the one who created her instead of the organization from the comics. You can keep the rest of her background from the comics, just change that little detail.
