I dunno, just doesn't seem to be a movie that screams like it needs to be IMAX experience. Star Wars and Civil War were at least partially shot with IMAX cameras. Dark Knight movies and Interstellar and all that were partially shot with IMAX cameras. IMAX was the ideal format.
In the summer, typically the new big film of that week IS released in IMAX.
For me it's the jungle landscape immersion.
As relevant as films shot for IMAX? No. But I'd say more relevant than a lot of films being thrown into IMAX during the summer on a weekly basis.
