I hope some WB guys will read this. We Know that you will bring a Special Edition of TDK for the TDKR release like you did with BB. I just hope will see some more Joker scenes. I bet you will please all fanboys with this and you will also make a lot of money as well. So please do it. Give us all more Joker footage!

How many extended Joker scenes is there supposed to be?

There are only 2 that I know of:

1.When he leaves Dent's penthouse after Batman and Rachel fell.

2.The extended scene of The Joker in the schoolbus after the hospital is blowing up. (which is on my extras of the blu-ray)

Nolan is a very rigid director. His films are usually exactly like his screenplays. Most of the time.

Unlike directors like Terry Mallick, who shoots enough stuff to cover three films. His films are shaped in the editing room.

What about the one of him in the back of a Cop car?

Here are just a few examples:

Those are the only examples, except for the aforementioned car scene and the cop car bit (which was likely just a few shots).

They're both from the hospital scene. Hardly worthy of a brand new release cut.

Never even seen those clips, thanks for that! :)

Oh yeah, there's a scene where Batman is running over cop cars. It was in one of the many trailers. Also, there's a ton of different takes on different scenes. I remember one of Joker saying "I loooveeeee this job" while driving the semi truck, but in the movie he says, "I like this job, I like it". The mob boss meeting, where Joker talks about Batman being a problem is also different.

Anyways, I just thought of those. ;)

I don't think that much was cut from the movie, to be honest. I'd much rather see extensive documentaries, especially on Heath as the Joker.

I would love to see that one.

Would also been thrilled if there were any more Batman or Two-Face scenes.

This will happen.

Right up there with SM3.1, IM2.1, TIH Extended, yup its happening. :o :oldrazz:

Honestly, I wouldn't mind another edition with extended scenes just so I have the excuse to get the blu-ray (I only have the DVD right now).

I wouldn't really mind extended editions of (not all, but pretty much) any superhero film. Some either leave me wanting more, or could fix up problems that the original had.

Y'all should read the script. Only two scenes were cut. And one of them wasn't even filmed.

If the script is the novel, I have.

The only thing I remember in the book, not in the movie was, joker escaping the party, backstory on scarecrow, and the ''there's always a catch" line.

Don't forget Lau burning alive on the money pile, they had to have shot something if they went through the trouble of creating a dummy to burn...

It's a bit odd that we never hear Lau scream or anything, seems like a ratings cut.

Lau is in the money burning scene.

Of course, but once the pile is set on fire we never hear or see him again. I didn't even realize he was burned alive until a couple viewings in, since he just completely disappears from the scene.

Yeah, I agree. It's kinda strange how we can hear Joker have a conversation, but not hear Lau being burned alive.
