The Dark Knight TDK Casting Sides

Lord I hope not Woj.........going to check = bbs

Can i just say I love the 'Brian' side so much. Very nice to show that if you dress up in an 'avenger' costume and try to 'pull a batman' you are most likely going to get killed very quickly and very gruesomely (if that is what happen of course, that's speculation.)

Given who I think the voice is, I'd say that's exactly what happens to poor Brian.

^Interesting Anjow....I like both ideas of it being Two-Face and being Joker. If it was Joker, I'd go with the idea of one Ferry surviving and all that pops up is a flag that says BANG! Then 10 seconds later BOOM! second Ferry explodes. Muahahhahah! :joker:

i just thought of two things.

firstly there are the batman imposters....dressing up like batman....could this be where the new thin looking suit comes into play...remember the hints (there is a reason for the suit ect) nobody ever said batman himself was going to be wearing it.

secondly. the bankjob seems to be jokers first scene, but i doubt we actually see his face in the entire scene. we probably just see the look of horror on the bank managers face. i would think the first time we see the joker fully is when he interrogates one of the imposter batmen.

oh and before people start dissing my spelling, i have been awake for 36 hours.

And it makes total sense, I dont care how much acid he takes to the face, Harvey should still have a twisted sense of right and wrong

alright guys, i'm covering my @$$ and deleting what I've posted. Take it cuz It's going bye-bye at 8:45 EST.

I didn´t read everything, but the list also said Swat team leader... Branden?

Doubtful. This role will be very minor, I don't think they'd go as far as to develop some special suit just for this particular role.

And what's with the imposterS? I thought it was only 'Brian' dressing up.

can i ask that the few that quoted me go back and edit my name out por favor? As I wanna be in the biz one day and don't need a phone call with "You'll never work in this town again!.........err.......ever!"

Much appreciated.

There is another vigilante present though, so that's a sort of similar thing.

I agree though that I doubt this relates to the suit design - it sounded to me as if Brian was wearing a very rough, homemade outfit.

is that all for the pages or are there more?

I love you guys for al of this

lOVE LOve love

Joy gasm indeed!!

loving it...but the ferry **** doesnt seem like to be the finale. they blow up a mall. next ferries.i really hope they stick away from ramdoness **** like the spiderman movies. i would hope all joker crimes somehow tie togetehr for some huge final set piece, with batman working with fox, gordon dent, n rachel to figure out what it is.

Ok so i'm looking back at the pages we got, and the ferry thing is in the first 10 pages.

Which leads me to believe that the ferry thing is something else going down shortly after the bank robbery. I'll bet dollars to pesos Bats and Gordan take down Joker, arrest him, and while he's being transported the ferry thing goes down. The Joker tells the cop guy that his wife is on the ferry thats gonna be blown up unless he helps him escape. The novice cop shoots Gordan and lets Joker go in hopes to save his wife.

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

P.S. NO WAY THIS WILL PG13 NOLAN!

Shooting the thugs in the legs? that wont be in the film....

Miranda, you´re our hero!

:woot: :hyper: Thanks, ultimate! I'm blushing. ;)

The cop Berg said his wife was in a hospital. Sounds to me like he's gonna shoot whoever this prisoner is out of revenge for his wife.

Also, there's more than one vigilante. In the page where Batman meets one of them, he keeps saying "we". This isn't an isolated incident, there's probably a gang of people, just like DKRs Sons of Batman.

Ok, here's the numbered pages in order. If its right the start is seriously fragmented in traditional Nolan style. I reckon the ferry scene is at the end but Nolan gives us a tease near the beginning

2. Chuckles bank robbery
4. Dealer spooked by Bat Signal
5. Dent questions Rossi in court
7. Junkie interogated by mobsters bodyguard, Batman arrives
8. Cop interrogates thug
10. Brian interrogated by Joker
11. Vigilante argues with Batman
12. Dent speaking with Lau (asian accountant)
13. Nightclub with Maroni
14. Gordon watches Batman dissappear into the night
14. Joker? and Stephens in cell
16. Prisoners on ferry
17. Judge Salizar
17. Wayne arrives in Hong Kong
18. Randolph (Gordon?) finds ****-scared, tied up cops
19. Sick fat thug collapses in jail cell
20. Gordon tries to talk distraught cop out of shooting prisoner
22. Cop in bar watching news
101? Passengers on other ferry

this has PG-13 written all over it. PG-13 is not so much what happens in the script, but rather the taste of the film maker. All Nolan has to do is show Bullock's gun point to his knee cap and then cut to a shot of his face, deliver the dilogue, add a little smoke, a white flash and a sound effect and wham, off screen violence. Can't be held accountable for what the audience makes up in their minds. Not to mention, Jack Bauer pops a cap in people's knees (comedic crash) on a constant basis, and he ain't even on HBO. They'll get away with it just fine.

I'm not quite sure if we should trust those page numbers as being the actual page numbers in the shooting script. Looking at that list, none of them follow a cohesive plot, just random scenes one after the other. Not to mention Bruce is hardly present in any of the first 20 pages, which I doubt will come to pass in the final film.

I'd say if this were to happen, its the other way around. Perhaps Bats is pissed that his image is being copied and people are beginning to lose focus of HIM, therefore he changes his suit. BTW it did say Batman would be the one wearing it. It said that Nolan and Bale checked out the suit and there was somewhat of a "fitting".
