The Dark Knight TDK UK Thread

^^^ I think there was a thread made about it. It reminds me of what they say in the movie Scream : "Films don't make serial killers they just make serial killers more creative.":hehe:

That article makes me really angry. How can a small badge endorse knife crime? I guess the whole Batman story encourages us to dress up as a bat and fight crime ourselves? The article also says Morgan Freeman plays "a boffin". The Sun will find the smallest excuse possible to write about knife crime. This is why everyone hates The Sun.

It isn't just the Sun, it's British society as a whole. There are too many idiots in this country who are obsessed with health and safety bollox, political correctness and and trying to link games and movies with violence.

^ That is pretty true actually. They'll find the smallest excuse to blame anything other than what actually is causing the violence.

I love TDK, the knifes in the film doesn't make me commit murder....

The Sun is stupid.

Ugh it's disgustingly true. I was reading a Daily Mail article the other day about a guy who murdered some prostitutes "having been influenced by" Grand Theft Auto 4.
The article started by mentioning he went on a killing spree while high on skunk cocaine. The article didn't mention drugs or cocaine again afterwards. Talk about priorities!

For any UK fans still wanting the movie masters, Toys R us has the Batman & Joker multipack (least mine has)

Forgot to mention that if you go to The Cinema Store in London they have the MM of Joker (£20), Batman (£20) and Henchman (£35).
Those of you that dont know it is round the back of Leicester Square, follow the exit where the Vue cinema is croass the road and walk straight for a minute and it is the next street along. Opposite Stringfellows.

Also Woolworths are offering a double sided poster with pre-orders of TDK, they also have the boxes on the shelves, bunch of prick teases

HAHA Yea Woolies always do that, they put the case out about a month before it comes out.

Saw a massive billboard advertising the DVD here in the UK. (London). The poster withthe buring bat building behind Batman. Looked awsome. Can't wait for the DVD :D

Ive got the full size cinema poster of the burning bat (luckily my sister was working at the cinema at the time)
Ive also ordered 3 copies of the film. 1 is Blu-Ray the other is with the comic of the bank robbery and the other is a limited edition case from amazon, its of Batman's mask. December 8th cant come quick enough! Also its only small but we get it a day before America does on DVD

Pre-ordered mine from HMV about a month ago... I can't wait to watch it over, over and over again!

Anyone been watching I'm a Celebrity Get.... ? They have been using the scores from both Batman Begins and TDK during the trials.

Hey, here's The Brit thread! :)

All of you fine bags of meat across this gloriously rancid nation, join me in going to IMAX to see the Nolan Double Bill.

Does anyone know about this? Has anyone heard? Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are now playing at IMAX for the next few days.

ScattO!

Yeah I've been telling as many people as possible about it and I reckon I'll be going a couple of showings as they are on every evening this week. It's simply got to be done - there is no other option!:woot:

I just checked and my local Imax is doing it too, yet i dont have a car so would use the bus and its gonna finish at around 12 and my buses finish by them. If only they started them an hour earlier.
