I don`t have it!

So is it just a sticker or part of the cover?

I wish they'd re-release Dark Knight in theatres over here aswell.

I thought they were?

I read on teletext that it was US only. Somtimes though VUE cinemas show newly released on DVD films, I remember superman returns been on near the time it came out on DVD.

That's a piss take, Batman himself was British!! The Joker's country is part of the British Empire!!! The director was British!! Gordon and Alfred are British!!! Need I go on?!?!?! :cmad:

It'll probably still be at the IMAX's for ages which is the only place I would bother to see it having bought the DVD...

Got my DVD today from Play.com It's fantastic. But noticed one thing which kinda made me think. On the DVD it says 145 mins approx. I swear the theatrical release was 152 mins? Anyway the colour of some of the scenes is changed (as mentioned by some other people who got the DVD, Blu-Ray earlier).
Also the scenes seem to have much more contrast and detail within them. In the cinema some scenes seemed a bit washed out, but DVD release has solid colours, sometimes bit too dark in dark scenes to see detail (But maybe i'll try adjusting my TV, it doesn't bother me anyway).
The sound quality is superb. My 5.1 system was literally blasting out so much bass. The whole sound mix and music has low frequency bass which gives the action scenes that extra thump.

Extras aren't as bad as i expected, BUT could still be much better. Seems like no characters are discussed at all really. No Joker feature.

IMAX scenes come out square so if you have a widescreen TV you may be slightly disappointed with the output, as i was.

All in all a fantastic purchase. Glad i finally got it. I've added some images below. The images of the art cards are a Play.com exclusive.

145 minutes of movie + 7 minutes of end credits = 152 minutes?

Who knows!?

Doubt it, i'm sure it means 145mins as total runtime.

Ahwell I'm sure some genius here will be able to work out whats happen.

Damn, that must be annoying.

Yo 'Face i'm glad you got it!!! :applaud

What is the best DVD package? I'm not bothered about the fancy stuff, I just want the one with all the special features and that. Is my best bet just the 2-disc DVD?
