I tried thinking of a running analogy but weight training was the only think I can think of where you stop and do something else stop and do something else and its only counted as one thing.

 

You could have used cardio hiit as an example. 30 second spurts with 30 second walking in between, for 15 mins. I didn't run 15 times tho. Well I did, but..
