The two exchange dialogue and we basically learn they're at the scene of a murder, and it's the same guy who's responsible for a string of seemingly random murders. Gordon starts to walk away, and when Harvey asks him where he's going, Gordon replies "I'd like you to meet someone." Cut to the rooftop of Gotham Police HQ, they're both standing around, and there's a large light coming from somewhere off screen. Suddenly, you hear Batman's voice "Gentlemen". Cut to a quick flash of Batman.
It's short and sweet. I loved how the first Begins teaser tricked you into thinking it wasn't a Batman movie. I'd love it if this did the same. I mean, you'd probably be able to tell by just seeing Oldman as Gordon, but to most casual moviegoers, they wouldn't realize until that final shot of Batman that it was a trailer for the Batman movie.

Sharkboy said:actually the best thing to do, is to put it with spider-man 3, its soo perfect that nolan should go out of his way to film something just for a teaser to go with that film. It will be the most watched superhero movie ever, theres no better place for publicity.
as for the teaser itself, i would do it similar to katsuro, but when the words show up in the end, have it all go black then you hear jokers hideous laugh echoing and summer 2008 pops on the screen.
Sharkboy said:they are shooting in march?! i thought it was next january?
Cinemaman said:Why do they need start it in January?
Nolan can make this movie in 130-150 days, what is enough. Post-productions usually talkes about 8-9 months.
March is right month to start shooting.
Besides they have now only actors from 1st movie and Ledger, who is still a question.

Ext. Alleyway. Night.
Two men stand separated from a crowd of forensics and police. The two men are Captain JAMES GORDON and district attorney HARVEY DENT. GORDON puffs on his cigar as they walk past the police line, lifting it over their heads. They proceed up the alley.
The alley is damp, puddle ridden, with dumpsters making it smell as sour as it looks.
The two men continue up to their goal. As they walk up the alleyway, they talk.
GORDON
Fifth this month.
DENT
He's toying with us, he's good at it too.
GORDON
Another prominent enforcer of the Maroni family. We're gonna have a mob war on our hands.
The two men reach their goal. The music begins to swell slowly. There, in the shadows, lies a corpse. A man, 37 years old, his face is covered in shadows, but his blood spatters the asphalt. We cut to the to mens faces-disgusted. Back on the body the camera zooms in as it slowly pans, the music continues to swell. The camera moves to what looks like a piece of paper near the body. We cut to GORDON who leans down to pick up the item. He lifts it up and the music reaches its highest level. We see what the item is in a POV close up and the music stops.
In GORDON'S hand, we see close, a playing card, a JOKER.
GORDON looks up to DENT.
GORDON
I think it's time you meet my partner.
CUT TO.
Ext. GCPD Rooftop. Night.
A light illuminates the two men from the side. The two men, GORDON and DENT stand on the rooftop, waiting.
DENT
How much longer?
GORDON
As long as it takes.
DENT
Oh.
We hear something, like a soft rustle off-screen. The two men hear it as well, they turn and look. Standing in front of a large spotlight is the silhouette of the BATMAN.
BATMAN
Gentlemen.

Sharkboy said:Well sir, im sure your right and all, im just going with the assumption from jett's hints he posted early on. you know...the whole rorys first kiss january 2007 thing, i took that as the movie starting filming then with "rory" being the fake title. Of course this hasnt been confirmed, i was simply making an assumption.
And yes, harry potter 5 will be the most likely movie theyll put it with, i just think its a mistake not to put something with spider-man 3, how about a announcement teaser, like a voiceover with the logo or something?
