If that's true then Rock might as well sit WresteMania out, at least as far wrestling goes. I mean how is he going to have time to help build a WresteMania match?

The WWE will find a way that is ******ed.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE has expressed interest in bringing in top Ring of Honor star El Generico. Generico is a Canadian wrestler who uses a Mexican Luchador gimmick.

Ugh...well good for Generico I guess.

This is why the WWE should not put the WWE Title on The Rock:

Ugh! Ok you guys are right, after hearing this news there's no way they can make a compelling title set up.

I hope Rock brings it at the rumble, but I hope punk retains and holds it until mania.

I hope he makes as much money as he can because he'll likely soon become Wayne Moarse before being let go.

I don't see much in El Generico. I mean granted, I've only seen one match with Daniels and a tag match with him teaming with Steen but I wasn't impressed. He's Mikey Whipwreck in a mask to me.

I don't understand why Dwayne would try to go after any more roles than he has if he's planning on being at WrestleMania, let alone work up more appearances on RAW and/or SmackDown if he were to win the WWE title at Royal Rumble. Doesn't make any sense unless Dwayne really likes money, lol.

On a side note though, it makes you wonder if WWE are in need of someone like The Rock to take the title from Punk seeing as how the two guys right now, Cena and Ryback, could never get more than half the crowd behind them going up against Punk. Perhaps that's why they're so keen on having Rock taking the title and then having Cena taking the title from Rock. I just don't understand the storyline, lol.

There really isn't anything to understand. Whatever happens is just leading to Rock winning the title at RR just to lose it at WM because they think that will make them the most money.

It sucks for people who would like a good feud though.

Maybe Rock loses to Punk at the Rumble? If his schedule is too tough to make it WM, that might be the case.

If that happens, then Cena will have my sympathies for the first time in history.

I have been thinking that it's a possibility that Rock won't win at RR and it will end up being a triple threat between Rock, Punk and Cena at WM. Cena wins the title at WM by pinning Rock, thereby getting his win back while also protecting Punk. Then again, they just gave away a clean Cena pin on Punk last night so what's the point in treating that as a major thing anymore. :o

If Rock does indeed lose to Punk and a triple threat is set for WM, it may even help Rock by giving him less appearances on RAW if he were to win the title as well as giving him less match time. Perhaps Cena and Punk could handle most of the triple threat match themselves and having Cena pin Rock to win the title would even their score as well as furthering the Cena/Punk feud since Cena didn't pin the champ to win the title.

I would be happy with this.

So the Rock is going to play Sinbad in Arabian Knights.

Damn, I was hoping he'd play this Sinbad:

WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin appeared on Busted Open with Dave Lagreca and Doug Mortman. The program airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on Sirius 92 and XM 208 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., visit www.facebook.com/bustedopen for more information. Highlights from the interview are as follows:

Could he ever be medically cleared to wrestle again?: "It’s not even about being cleared. I’m 100 percent fine. Once I had my fusion done in 2000 and I went into the recovery phase and then got back in the ring, everything was fine and dandy. I was just running too hard towards the end and had a few issues. It was time to get out. Passing the physical isn’t the issue."

Is CM Punk the only guy he would come back for to wrestle?: "I think John Cena would be a guy as well. I really like John. He is the face of that company right now and he has done a hell of a job and I got a lot of respect for him. You look at a guy like Triple H, that was one of my favorite guys to work in the ring with. Such a ring general and such a pro. Just an easy night at the office. Undertaker is kind of beat to shreds, kind of like me. Those would be a few guys off the top of my head. Would it just be CM Punk? No. Is CM Punk at the top of the list? Yes!"

Today marks seven years since the untimely passing of WWE legend Eddie Guerrero. Several wrestling personalities have reacted to the anniversary of his passing, with the following messages on Twitter.

Vickie Guerrero: "I will love you Eddie....always and forever"

"[To Chavo Guerrero] I love you Vito. Thinking of you today. Xxoo. Eddie is so proud of the husband, father, and performer you have become"

Chavo Guerrero: "[To Vickie] I love u too Vickie! U and the girls are heavy on my mind today. Eddie is smiling at the strong women u are!"

"7 yrs ago,I lost my uncle, brother friend. The whole world lost a hero, but heaven gained a returning son. Eddie Guerrero, gone not forgotten"

JBL: "Two guys have meant the world to me, my pal Ron and the great Eddie who passed away 7 years today. Love u and miss u Esse! #cherishUrTime"

“@SMARKRAGE: How much blood did you and Eddie lose in your judgment day match? it was so freaking bloody.”--Eddie went to hospital after."

"For those whining about Dr Punk last night, I once gave Eddies mom a heart attack on Mothers Day-then set attendance record in LA! #heat"

Jim Ross: "Complex & talented Eddie Guerrero died 7 yrs ago today. 1 of my greatest signees. Challenging man. Was his own worst critic. A star. RIP"

"When we signed Eddie Guerrero, Vickie was a wife & mom. Now she's got more antagonist angst than virtually anyone. Step it up #WWE men."

William Regal: "It's seven years ago today that my friend Eddie Guerrero passed away.My favourite all round performer in the Wrestling.I still miss him."

Dave Lagana: "Felt lucky to have seen Eddie Guerrero wrestle in ECW and honored to worked with on Smackdown. You are missed Eddie and never forgotten."

Gabe Sapolsky: "We all miss you Eddie Guerrero. More and more every year."

- WWE's storyline update on William Regal after he was attacked by Big Show on last night's RAW is that he likely suffered a broken jaw and concussion.

- Sources say we haven't seen the last of Brad Maddox after Ryback destroyed him on last night's RAW and sent him away in an ambulance. Maddox will be off WWE TV for a while to sell the beatdown but he has a big fan in Triple H so he will be getting a new role in early 2013.

This seems like this would be a waste. Wasn't Alex Shelley picked up a while back as well? Will anything come from hires like this? Or will they just sit idly by collecting checks while WWE "launches" their network.

Shelley was never officially signed.

You're a longtime ROH fan, can you point me in the direction of some good El Generico stuff? Because I'm not digging him right now. I'm an ROH newb because I didn't start following the company regularity until the Sinclair deal.
