WWE probably thought the group needed a power guy as well. The group is kinda perfect as is. The down and dirty brawler who acts as the mouthpiece, the high flyer, and the power guy. There's something for everyone.

Kinda like a new Freebirds

Been watching a ton of Rollins on youtube. He's s great wrestler and from the stuff I've watched he's gone from flat out bad on the mic to passable.

I still think Kruger can be a fun mid card addition for smackdown

The current working title for the group is The Shield. However, WWE could change their minds by Monday when the group is scheduled for their first interview with Michael Cole on Monday's Raw explaining their attacks on Ryback.
PWTorch received info on the group's potential theme music (with copyright and royalties to be sorted out) from a band in Cincinnati. The song is titled "I'm Telling You" from the band "Damn It To Hell" and can be heard here at ReverbNation.com .

Oh please jesus don't let Cole interview them for their first promo, he'll shout over them until they come across as goons on the mic.

Interesting Kayfabe bit from WWE.com:

http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/2012-11-19/nxt-trio-ready-to-knock-down-doors-26070601

Go ahead and call them “kids,” “upstarts,” “Superstars in training.” None of those dismissive terms changes the fact Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have successfully laid out the most destructive force in WWE, Ryback, on consecutive nights. And now, new video obtained by WWE.com suggests the trio of NXT developmental talents has expanded its campaign to target other members of WWE’s main roster.

Days removed from the frenzied closing scenes of Survivor Series and Monday’s Raw, the WWE Universe continues piecing together the puzzle that is the Ambrose-Rollins-Reigns triumvirate. As WWE management, fans and Superstars try to decipher the objectives of the “kids from NXT” — as well as determine their connection, if any, to WWE Champion CM Punk and Paul Heyman — all WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes can do is sit back and nod knowingly from his office in NXT’s Florida headquarters.

“The American Dream,” a three-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and father of WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, has been steering the helm of WWE’s developmental territory since being named NXT’s General Manager in June. As such, he has far greater insight than most into the possible motivations of the three intruders. Though he stopped short of endorsing their unprovoked assaults on Ryback, Rhodes was not surprised they pounced on the opportunity to make their names known.

“In our developmental system, there’s one thing we’re always preaching: make an impact,” the Hall of Famer told WWE.com in a phone interview this week. “I’m not condoning the actions of these three guys. But they see the youth movement. They see the Kofi Kingstons and Damien Sandows of WWE, and they want to be part of it. I always told them, ‘If you see the opportunity, you have to take it.’ ”

Whether labeled WWE Superstars or developmental competitors, the outsiders from NXT have clearly seized the spotlight, quickly establishing themselves as dangerous interlopers who are even capable of swinging the tide in the WWE Title picture. By homing in on Ryback, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns have sent a loud message to all members of the WWE main roster, according to Rhodes.

“They picked the right guy, because sometimes the way to become the next big thing is by going after the biggest dog in the yard,” he said. “They really believe — they’d talk to me about this — that guys like Ryback are ‘just one-dimensional,’ and that’s quoting these three guys.”

The objections of Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns extend beyond Ryback, it appears. During a Grand Rapids TV taping Tuesday night, the three men interrupted a match between Tyson Kidd and Santino Marella, attacking both Superstars. The underlying motivations could be money and fame, or an “out with the old, in with the new” mentality that makes any established performer fair game. The NXT invaders believe they’re ready to tackle the biggest challenges WWE has to offer, yet there is a finite number of spots on the WWE main roster.

Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns are ready to compete for those heavily coveted positions, even if the opportunity to do so comes without the blessing of WWE’s talent relations department, Rhodes intimated.

As somebody who’s been involved in talent development initiatives on and off for years, Rhodes broke down the three fighters based on his observations of them in NXT and its predecessor, Florida Championship Wrestling. NXT currently boasts five or six competitors who are WWE-ready, in Rhodes’ estimable opinion, and right atop that list stand Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns.

Lol, I get a kick out of the kayfabe writing sometimes, it reminds me of the WWE magazines I used to read when I was a kid.

I used to copy the writing style to produce a fake wrestling magazine for a pro wrestling RPG my friends and I used to play as kids, which in turn helped me when I became a news writer later in life.

What is The Talking Dead and why is CM Punk making a big deal of it?

Here's Kaitlyn's mugshot

I don't think anyone has ever looked this good taking a mugshot , lol.

Report on Problems Between CM Punk and WWE Going Into WrestleMania Season

By Marc Middleton on 11/21/2012
- We covered on Tuesday how WWE Champion CM Punk complained on Twitter that WWE wasn't promoting his appearance on Sunday's episode of Talking Dead, basically the Walking Dead post-show, or his Thanksgiving Day Parade appearance in Chicago.

PWInsider reports that there has been a major disconnect within the relationship between Punk and WWE over the past few weeks. It was originally reported that John Cena was the one who spoke out at Vince McMahon backstage and told him the product needed major changes because it was in bad shape. PWInsider reports that other people are saying it was Punk who spoke out.

There's a feeling that WWE is doing Punk wrong because he has held the WWE Title for over a year now and is still not featured on the promotional material for WrestleMania 29. There's also some concern about how Punk will react if The Rock does actually take the WWE Title from him at Royal Rumble. Some feel that if Punk isn't treated right during WrestleMania season, then there will be "hell to pay."

It's said that Punk has some pull in developmental, nowhere near the level of Triple H or someone like that, but Punk has gone in and told them they should push this guy or hire this guy. Punk is expected to be a big focus of the NXT storyline invasion in the coming months.

I feel another Pipe Bomb coming unless they guarantee him a spot in the main event at Wrestlemania. Punk deserves it though.

I wonder how he would feel about dropping the belt to Ziggler. At TLC Punk could defeat Ryback with the help of NXT guys , then Ryback would lay him out post match , WWE hardly remember their own rules so Ziggler could cash in at that point. Then you have Ziggler do the job at the Royal Rumble. I'm not sure where they would go from there , but a triple threat match seems likely. Unless Punk carries the belt all the way to WM29.

I'm about to watch WWE's Attitude era on blu ray. Hopefully they do one for each era.

Most people don't look nasty over a late parking ticket fee. She wasn't pulled over for drugs or drunk.

If there is one thing I like about Randy Orton is that he wasn't forced by the WWE to join Tout. Hopefully, the Rock doesn't join either.

She (Kaitlyn) just did come from a WWE event where she was ready if they needed her.

- The Usos say their time is coming. They tweeted this morning:

"The baddest tag team ever!!! #BelieveThat if u don't.....then we really don't care what u think...#USOOO #UnkeptSecret"

"For all the haters that responded negatively to our last tweet, like we said....we don't care...Usos Time is coming! #GetWithItOrGetLost"

- Former WWE stars Edge and Beth Phoenix will be handing out 1,000 turkeys to the needy behind Westgate Mall in Asheville, North Carolina today.

- Mick Foley tweeted the following about the rumors of him wrestling CM Punk:

"Regarding that rumor about me wrestling @CMPunk : I might if I could, but I can't, so I won't."

- Sheamus vs. Big Show in a Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Title for the TLC pay-per-view was made official at last night's SmackDown tapings. There had also been talk of having the two compete in a Tables Match using some of their history as Sheamus' first WWE Title win over John Cena was in a Tables Match and Big Show lost his Intercontinental Title last year in a Tables Match. Now we know the match will be a Chairs Match but word is that the feud between Show and Sheamus will end at TLC.

With CM Punk retaining the WWE Championship against Ryback and John Cena at Survivor Series on Sunday, thereby likely solidifying an expected match with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at Royal Rumble, the sports-entertainment organization's creative team has discussed a scenario where The Straight Edge Superstar would defeat The Great One at the annual January pay-per-view event. This would subsequently lead to Punk defending the title against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIX, and Johnson facing Cena in a non-title re-match at the same event.

Original creative plans called for Johnson to defeat Punk at the Rumble, leading to a match against Cena for the title—which could still occur. Creative has given thought to how Johnson winning the WWE Championship would impact the product since there would be no titles defenses at houses shows for over two months, and also add a new issue of whether he would defend the title at the February pay-per-view event, Elimination Chamber. Not awarding Johnson would rectify this problem.

Though the importance of the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship has diminished in recent years, one of the primary reasons that creative has yet to unify the belts is because they feel a title match should close out all house shows.

I still expect Punk to lose at Royal Rumble. WWE isn't going to sucker me in. I won't believe Punk is going over Rock or Undertaker until I see it.

Ditto. The WWE isn't smart enough to do that (have Punk retain at RR).

Paul "Triple H" Levesque Explains Why He Cut Off His Trademark Ponytail

Promoting WrestleMania XXIX at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events, appeared on WHEB-FM's "The Morning Buzz." During the radio interview, he explained that he cut off his trademark ponytail in September because wearing it on a daily basis in the corporate environment had become an increasing nuisance.
"To be honest, the hair actually didn't have that much to do with the corporate position as much as it did with... For years when I was wrestling and I wore my hair down all the time—I'd go through airports whenever I let my hair down, it didn't matter—and just in that [corporate] environment I was wearing my hair up all the time. It just got to be such a pain that for the last year and a half I've been dying to cut it off. It just started to become the bane of my existence, my hair every day, and I never wore it down; I just couldn't wait for the time when I could finally get rid of it," Levesque explains.
"And it's the weirdest thing. To me, it wasn't that big of a deal and I didn't really put that much thought into it, but then I literally did it in the morning, drove to the office, there was a couple of people outside, I took a few pictures as I was walking in, and I went inside. I got upstairs, it wasn't even ten minutes later, and someone came up, "Dude, you're all over TMZ that you cut your hair"

That Linus remark might very well be the best comment I've heard in a long time.

Holy ****, after that interaction, I'm hyped to no end for this match right now.
