Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett!

His gut bulging out kind of bugs me.

Seeing his stomach stick out so much threw me off a bit at first too, but I completely forgot about it once he started putting in work on those StormTroopers, because you could actually tell it was Temuera Morrison doing all of those great stunts which I really did appreciate.

He looked pretty awesome and very convincing in those action scenes IMO and while I wouldn't mind an old school poncho or something to cover him up a bit more I also fine with them keeping him the way he is now.

I think his older body makes him standout more than just Mando #2. Mando is basically fulfilling the Boba Fett role of the original trilogy. The older, out of shape Boba Fett reminds me now of The Wild Bunch. And it’s more interesting and badass when you think about it.

Umm.... he's gotta lose that gut before he gets a solo series. Sorry, not sorry.

This.

As you stated, you want a cooler, in shape and in his prime hero protagonist? Mando is your man.

But that's not what they are going for with Boba. He's seasoned, older, wounded inside and out from his battles, and perhaps, because of that, more dangerous, not less. Boba as an older guy that can't hang in certain areas like he use to is probably a brutal guy to fight... Which is what we saw. Older dude has to end the fight as ruthless as he can cuz badass or not, you don't have the wind and stamina you did over 40 that you did as a man in your 20's or 30's.

This will be interesting to see how they go with Morrison's time in the role.

This show can handle anything. There’s pressure bringing the likes of Boba Fett, Ahsoka and Bo Katan to live action. They’ve nailed them all.

Yeah, I do hope we get some answers to that (also how he escaped the Sarlaac pit but maybe the mystery to that is better left unexplained). I do like the little green scars on his face which I assume is from time spent in there.

I wonder why he never chose to go after his armor until now. He knew about Cobb after all.

Wouldn't Cobb be a lot easier to go after than Mando?

This.

He picked up Fennic before Cobb was even in the mix.

So... I think choices are they let us believe for a period Boba is an honorable if ruthless badass and then we get a swerve that shows Boba had an evil agenda all along or... He still schemed his way into our Mando's good graces but his motives are not nefarious he simply must play his cards close to his armor.

Really we're not just going with Boba Fatt?

What's great for me is how much he's un-ironically channeling Tomisaburo Wakayama

"Boba Fatt"?

...

...

...

I bow to you and the Buddha nature within you.

I'm just seething I didn't come up with it first.

"Boba Fatt"?

...

Fett means "Fat" in my language so we're already ahead of you guys :cwink:

There is a pretty big hole in the timeline that needs explaining. But I have a feeling they are going to wave their hand and pretend it didn't happen.

Did he spend 5 years on Tatooine looking for his armor?

Yeah it would be nice to get some kind of idea of what he's been up to.

Well I'm sold if they want to do a Boba Fett series. Ming-na Wen seems like the ideal co-star.

It would be great if when they do a Boba Fett series if they could jump back and forth between current Fett and his younger self set before Empire Strikes Back.
Daniel Logan isn't doing anything, and he's aged very well in regards to maintaining his look as a young Temeura. That said, this concept cuts too close to my dream plan for "The Lando Chronicles" with Billy Dee narrating his old log while Glover acts it out.

I'm gonna need Boba to suck in that gut and get a full armor suit back, having it mismatched the way it is makes him look like he's fighting in a skirt.

I hope Boba gets a fresh green paint job and sticks with the black robes.
Part of me wants him to give his armor a new paint job.
I feel like he’d wear the damage to his suit proudly but only if it was damaged while he was in possession of it.

But I also love the idea of it being as nasty looking as he is.
