5 years later they will realese the ultimate directors cut. i would understand this way of thinking if TS would make a lot of money and get a sequel. you realese a sequel and then you also realese the new BR version .

but this movie was a bomb. wouldnt it make more sense to realese all footage and to get as much money as possible?

I smell a double dip coming.
it is a double dip. but like i said the problem is that the movie was a bomb. they dont have a lot of fans.

who will buy the new version in 5 or 10 years?

DVDs are cheap to produce. I don't think they'd have a problem making money off even a small population of people buying them.

AVP got a double dip.

Well, the 'No fate' line was in the T1 deleted scenes, it's up to you if you want to count it as canon I guess, though Cyberdyne recovering the chip made it into T2. I'd even argue that T2 didn't conclusively show that the future could be changed (T3 did, and then contradicted itself by making events postponed, rather than changed), but... I don't like to argue :oldrazz:

It is, but it's Sarah saying it. Not Kyle Reese.

Exactly, so it was never part of John's message from Reese to Sarah which John said it was in T2.

However Izzy, I do agree that T2 didnt definatively show that the future could be changed, which again brings some of TS into question. I simply dont believe McG did enough homework on this aspect.

I always figured she was paraphrasing, but that's a point made.
I think it was great of Cameron to change the ending from the Future Coda to the dark highway, it left it ambiguous. Even if the characters didn't change the future, it was a highlight of the human spirit that they tried

Best Buy has a Blu Ray Skull case for $15 more, I wonder if there are more features

Alternate ending.. This would of messed up the whole Terminator mythology. :funny:

I forgot about the "John is a Terminator" ending. What were the writers thinking? Were these the same people who wrote the rest of the script?

How? By using Maximum Movie Mode? That's a WB feature, not something reserved just for Zach Snyder. Undoubtedly they asked him to do it

yea all big motion films from WB will be doing MMM, i wonder if when Batman 3 comes out on bluray is Nolan going to do one

Seriously. I mean to even consider such an ending is a complete slap in the face to Cameron and the entire Terminator mythology in general.

What the hell were those writers smoking?

McG stands like a complete idiot.

Must be because he is.

I honestly don't hate McG. Hell, I'll even defend the first Charlies Angels flick but he is far from being a director worth watching.

The action scenes is Terminator Salvation are pretty damn good but he lacks substance and real heart. Thats why TS did very little for me, that and Bale doesn't look like he wants to be in it.

Charlies Angels and what else?

...

That's all I can think of...

Charlies Angels...2? Haha.

Oh and also there's 'We are Marshall'.
