First, Hollywood starts making movies based on `70s TV shows (Charlie's Angels, Starsky & Hutch, etc). Now, they are making movies based on `80s TV shows (Transformers, Voltron, He-Man, etc). So, I guess the `90s are next!

Which `90s TV shows do you think Hollywood will turn into a movie? I think the most obvious is Power Rangers. Especially if Voltron is a hit.

Can you imagine Disney calling their buddy, Jerry Bruckheimer, and asking him to turn Power Rangers into a blockbuster summer franchise? :wow:  That would be crazy! I just hope that if they do it they still faithful to both the original American series and the Japanese sentai, Zyuranger.

Well, anyway, what other TV shows can we expect? Can you imagine a live-action Doug?!

I want a Freakazoid movie! :yay:

Spielberg should definitly do a live-action Freakazoid movie. That would be awesome.

Dexter's Lab needs to become a movie more than prettymuch any movie based on today's ****ty cartoons.

Samurai Jack. I say scrap the Ronin project and do a Samurai Jack movie.
Pirates of Dark Water. The perfect successor to the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Gargoyles. Do I really need to explain why this would rock as movie?

They should make another Super Mario movie :o

Honestly. . .I'm gonna have to re-watch that movie. I haven't seen it in a LONG time BUT I do remember being a fan.

I think it's the superman the movie of videogame adaptations. Hopskins is what Reeve is to superman, perfect casting... just a joy to watch as the plumber who stomps on monsters in the sewers.

Hell yes for Power Rangers and Gargoyles.

I'd also like to throw in Darkwing Duck for an updated animated movie.

ok, wish me luck, this is my attempt at finding all the best stuff from the 90s!

I call pete & Pete the original lost because it too gave us more questions about its characters, setting, life, than it answered. This is the show that Malcolm in the Middle wishes it was. For the youngsters who are stupid, this was about two ginger haired brothers living in some wacky town where only one brother could really be called normal. The younger brother was more like bart simpson, always getting into trouble, and had a tatoo of some woman on his arm. Basically i love this show for its simplicity. it's a poptart instead of a grand course breakfast with all the eggs, pancakes, and bacon, but it's just as delicious. Where it excells above any nickelodeon show I've seen is in the writing department. It's just simply so well written to such a level that completely outclasses all of nick's current kiddie shows and all the sad attempts at laugh track shows on disney we see so much of now. This show is a true gem that remains unjustifiably underrated. Good grief. Just watch it yourself if you don't believe me. BRILLIANT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kf5sBLkFJ20

more to come...

I watched CN more than nickelodeon. I've never heard of 'Pete'. Sounds and looks pretty good. Damn, I miss when cartoons were good.
