Honestly, I'm really on board with this. Posters are great as well. Exploring different eras of Star Wars is a win IMO.
Only thing I'm wondering though. If this is 100-50 years before Phantom Menace, wouldn't Venestra be at least 100-150 years old at that point? Guessing she ages Yoda style.
Ah yes, I hadn't read the stuff on the website yet. Sounds excellent to be honest!![]()

Loved the trailer. All those Jedi are going to die at the end. Fun seeing those yellow sabers, though. Probably saving purple for the Vern reveal.
Took me a second to recognize Dafne Keen. Didn't realize she would be under that much make up from the pics we had seen. Stenberg's Mae looks amazing. I love her purple cloak. Carrie Anne Moss stills got it.
Starwars.com has some one line character descriptions. I am excited by Jodie Turner-Smith's Mother Aniseya. I am really excited to see another Force tradition. However, I hope they resist the urge to make these witches Nightsisters as well.
Yeah, she is pretty old at this point.
Have you gotten around to watching Andor yet?I haven't been very impressed with recent Star Wars shows, so unless I hear overwhelmingly good reviews, I think I am skipping this.
No, and I know that show was universally praised and all, but Star Wars as a whole just isn't a priority for me right now. I just havent been in ghe mood to binge it. Getting my fix recently has been essentially just rewatching the OT.Have you gotten around to watching Andor yet?
Honestly, Andor's quality is almost completely divorced from the fact it is Star Wars. Even someone who actively hated Star Wars would have a reasonable chance of loving it. I think it is very much in conversation with the OT and the contemporary, grittier science fiction films that surrounded it in the 70s but it's so its own thing. High point of the franchise if I divorce myself from the religious awe we all collectively hold the OT in.No, and I know that show was universally praised and all, but Star Wars as a whole just isn't a priority for me right now. I am glad it's pretty popular, but I just don't feel like binging it essentially. I watched Ahsoka and such mostly cause I watched then when they aired, where as Andor I forgot about when it was airing live and just never had the craving to binge it. One day maybe, but probably not in the immediate future. Star Wars sort of has to win me back. They didn't lose me cause of any political agenda or anything. They lost me cause the recent shows just have ranged from meh to boring to bad. Basically since Mando S2 ended, none of the shows I watched felt satisfying.Honestly, Andor's quality is almost completely divorced from the fact it is Star Wars. It's just odd to me that you won't watch the one good show, but you still tuned in for Ahsoka. Maybe when Andor's second season comes out it'll give you the motivation to catch up on it. It was in my top four shows of 2022, along with Better Call Saul, Interview with the Vampire and The Bear. It's legitimately the best original series on Disney+ (not that that's a high bar).I am glad it's pretty popular, but I just don't feel like binging it essentially. Yeah, Secret Invasion's first trailer really fooled me, I thought it had the potential to be great. This looks really intriguing, but all the SW shows have looked pretty great in the trailers. We’ve had some stellar shows that really delivered (Andor, Mando seasons 1 & 2), and a lot of mediocre-to-bad stuff (Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Boba Flop). So it’s up in the air as to how good this will be. BUT I love the cast and the fight choreography looks fantastic. And the premise is interesting. AND at least it’s not a story set around the events of the Clone Wars or original trilogy.

Still, it looks like this show has some ambition so I'm willing to give it a shot.
