Looking forward to seeing what the other/minor Atlanteans look like.

I wonder about any less than human looking characters. Will we see full on mermaid types? Hybrid looking characters?

Heh, I just realized that aside from Thomas Curry and Vulko, all of the cast characters so far have at some point tried to kill Arthur.

The movie has added Kaan Guldur as the 9-yr old Arthur Curry.

For a second I thought that said Kaldur :csad:

I reckon we'll see mostly hybrid types. They'll basically look like us but with funky looking eyes and maybe they can chuck some gills on or something. That would be cool.

Ha yeah Atlantis is not going to be a friendly place

I think we'll see mainly hybrids. Would be cool to see a full on mermaid though.

I could see it being quite CGI heavy so it's probably best they take their time

what's the budget on this? like 200 million?

I hope not just because Hollywood in general needs to reign in budgets for these tent poles. Still... Wan has a huge task of giving us a hero whose main environment is on and under the waves of the sea. The logistics are mind boggling in all likelihood and any way you slice it would justify a pretty sizable outlay of money and resources.

I try not worry too much about budgets. Some films have huge budgets and are terrible. Others have tiny ones and are amazing. The story is always king

But I just hope they capture the essence of what made Wonder Woman great and make this film even more better as far as emotional range, storytelling, etc. but of course the action scenes too

Eh... Tell that to the shoddy Inhumans trailer. Production values matter.

Lmao, I thought I was just a hater, man that trailer looks awful.

But with this film if they follow the Wonder Woman model then I think this film too could be a saving grace for the DCEU that they can strike gold again with Aquaman just as long as they follow the Wonder Woman model because if they follow the BVS or even the SS model then they are f*****

The worst part is seeing Iwan Rheon wasted on something like that.
I loved him in misfits and have wanted to see him in something like this(well, a CBM. DCEH preferably ) for awhile.
Goddamnit:funny:

But yeah
That was awful

Yeah that's fair point actually. Plus to be honest there's already a stigma about Aquaman out there so if it looks bad the movie will loose millions

Really? Cuz if an Aquaman film makes the BO of both those films it would be doing massive numbers. So... No they wouldn't be ****ed in the least.

Too far away. December 2018
