That's like saying the same thing about GOTG in 2013. "Why release any footage if the space VFX are not ready?" And yet only filming for a short period they released a real.

Yeah but that was not intentionally released online by the studio. I know they will show something but if they are releasing it officially online I hope there are at least seconds of underwater stuff at least . I just don't want dialog only stuff like the Justice League teaser they released last comic con.

They still released something early to show fans and build anticipation for GOTG. And this early in something like the SDCC special teaser for JL, in regards to AM is going to be that, a special teaser. There is NO HARM done if they release what amounts to a simple sizzle reel. It's not like if they do that it's the only material we will get.There will be at best two more full on trailers. Having a dialog one with little water sequences out isn't going to sink this film, no pun intended.

With Aquaman well Arthur being a child of both worlds being half human half Atlantean I mean feeling like an outsider in both worlds I mean how will the aftermath or aftershock of the events in Justice League affect Arthur's solo film? I mean no doubt the events of JL will affect not only Earth but it could affect Atlantis as well as a kingdom

But then again Arthur's film will be a solo film his origin film so I wonder if the events of Justice League will tie into Aquaman somehow?

But then again I wonder if the events of JL if they take place before Aquaman's solo then this solo origin film would more or less be a prequel but at the same time it delves into Arthur as a character so I think that might be the right way to go

I also only agree to watch underwater reveal scenes and will hold my breath during any crap overground dialogue ****e.

Yeah but the film obviously will delve into Arthur in just who he is as a man who eventually becomes a hero...half man half god and he has these powers that he has no idea what to do with or how to control

But to see the sibling rivalry between Arthur and Orm as brothers...will be just an added element considering their mother Atlanna Nicole Kidman's character she too will obviously add to their rivalry because her sons fighting over the throne of Atlantis I mean it is much more than that...just who is their mother's favorite son

Honestly? No. People make assumptions very quickly and easily and I think there's enough there that you don't necessarily have to show the swimming shots yet.

Show Atlantis and some of the pier scenes. The bits that aren't CGI heavy and show Orm in his armour and I think people will wet their pants

Yeah. I would rather have a clear look at Black Manta's costume at this stage over under water battles (no pun intended).
