I'd be pretty happy with just about any of these names for these characters (not very sure about Keira Knightley for Selina though). Especially if we could actually get Hawke for Gordon. He'd be a top notch choice for the part, if he could be convinced to give it a whirl.

He'd have to hit the gym ridiculously hard for years to get into the Bane physique (which is even more radical than your typical superhero physique) so no.

Caleb Landry Jones is still a close second for my pick for Joker but Rami Malek has taken the top spot.

I think he’d work well as Riddler too but he’d make an incredible Joker imo

I'd be fine with no Joker for this whole trilogy (if it is 3 films and not 2 or 5). Say what you want about the Joker movie, but it's gonna be really hard to find a better actor working today than Joaquin Phoenix.

I just can’t get behind a series of films where Batman never faces off against his arch nemesis, just feels wrong to me, like it would always feel somewhat incomplete.

It’s hard though because at the same time you want to see villains that haven’t been done before and Joker certainly has been done before...

Maybe you could have him be alluded to in the first two films maybe he’s in Arkham? And when the villains from the first two films are put in Arkham, Joker “springs his trap” and we get an adaptation of Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth?

Yes, that's how Reeves should proceed. I would prefer his plan set not in Arkham but on Gotham as a whole if he is the lead villain for the 3rd film.

I know he played Harry Osborne in the Sony Spider-Man movies, but was just thinking that Dane DeHaan might make for a good Joker or alternately Riddler.

Or I could even see Leo DiCaprio playing Joker who hasn't been in a CBM at all yet and should totally do one.

I’d be interested in seeing DeHaan do another mainstream CBM. He’s a good actor. He’s a little too...pretty for Jason, but that’s one of the only characters in Batman’s sandbox I could see him playing.
