This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]519143[/split]
Apparently the villain will be around Barry's age and they are casting him right now
Source?
Are we sure thats what he was teasing?Lol all that tease for the info re Flash shooting at WB soundstage
Sad
Since DC is really embracing the zany and all out crazy with Aquaman and Wonder Woman 84, I really want to see Gorilla Grodd as the main villain in a Flash film!
Are we sure thats what he was teasing?
Didnt he tease something last week about casting news coming soon?
I think thats still what hes talking about.
Id absolutely love to see Gorrila Grodd.![]()
We will see, would be funny if grace Randolph breaks it before them again lol
As was I. I enjoyed his character in Spartacus, but every film I've seen him in since then (up until Suicide Squad) his performance has been mediocre at best; his portrayal in SS was quite welcome!I was so surprised by Courtney in SS. He was the highlight for me after Robbie.
It'll be a Rogue then I guess. Can't imagine Grodd would be cast as someone similar in age to Barry, and I'd have thought Thawne would be portrayed by someone with a few more years behind them (simply because I can't imagine a young Eobard being that daunting of a threat).Apparently the villain will be around Barry's age and they are casting him right now
Is Grant Morrison related to Midge Ure in some way? He really has a look of him sometimes
However, a script is still being tweaked and the studio thinks that it won’t enough time to get the script in shape in order for the film to make its original start date.
That’s a problem, because Ezra Miller, the live-wire performer tasked with playing the Flash, also has a key supporting role in “Fantastic Beasts,” the “Harry Potter” spin-off series. The third film in the franchise begins shooting in July, which would cause scheduling headaches. The standalone Flash film is now expected to commence production in late 2019. That likely means the superhero adventure won’t debut in theaters until some time in 2021.
Thanks for the updateFlash Standalone Movie Pushes Start Date, Eyes 2021 Release (EXCLUSIVE)
So production is pushed back a bit, but really, the reason makes sense: Ezra Miller's already committed to the third Fantastic Beasts film next summer, so Flash filming before or around that time could possibly conflict with things. The film will get here when it gets here. There's Aquaman, Shazam!, Joker, and Wonder Woman 1984 in the meantime.
Wasn't there a rumour going around that Dr Light would be the main villain?
