Hey, Billy Zane was the perfect choice for King *****ebag in Journey to Promethea.
Yeah, but most of Lex's screen history sucks.
Yeah. The closest we've gotten to a "good" Lex was the one on Smallville
Very happy about this. There was some shockingly amateurish writing in MOS.Brilliant ideas childsih exceutionNo problem at all - I was nitpicking a bit there, so don't feel too bad. Forums are a fickle beast sometimest:
In support of the Thread's namesake, here are my top 5 things I like about BvS so far:
1. Cavill returning as "The Man" - he's so great in the role!
2. The Batsuit - it really looks great and I can't wait to see it in motion
3. Affleck as "The Other Man" - wasn't sure at first, but am totally on Team Batfleck for sure.
4. Terrio onboard as writer - they needed some new blood in that role to mix it up a bit.
5. Introduction of new DC characters - being the precursor to JL, I can't wait to see cameos of some of the other members...it's going to be glorious!
Er, John Shea?
I'll just say that MOS is the first Superman film that I truely like.
The Good:
Cav-el: Perfect for his role in MOS and I hope will be again.
Affleck: I wasn't a supporter at first, but somehow, I have come to see him as endearing. His recent work has been quality and I believe he will continue the trend.
Batfleck and Cav-el suits: Love them. So eager to see them woven into some equally beautiful imagery.
Batmobile: Very happy with that hybrid of rugged and stylish.
Terrio: With a Goyer-only script, I knew roughly what to except. I have an idea of what flaws/weaknesses would likely still be present with his script. That doesn't mean I hate him, I just know that he has certain limitations. This time...we have someone new and it seemingly raises the bar on what is possible. Exciting!
Supporting cast: It seems pretty stellar so far. I'm particularly excited for Adams, Lane, Malone, Irons, Hunter.
Lex: He's in this movie and he won't be the Donner version. I welcome a new take on the character and believe Eisenberg is capable.
