- The prospect of seeing Batman and Superman together on the big screen for the first time ever
- Batman's costume
- Subtle alterations to the Superman costume
- In Affleck, a Bruce Wayne who actually looks like Bruce Wayne
- MoS original cast members returning
- A seemingly faithful re-imagining of the Wayne murders featuring The Mask of Zorro
- Chris Terrio's involvement
- Larry Fong's involvement
- The promising footage shown at SDCC 2014
- The look of Gotham and Metropolis (what we've seen so far in set pics)

I might be overstating this, but Terrio could make or break this film.
There's more riding on him than people may think.
- Henry Cavill back as Superman, Kal El and as Clark Kent (glasses and all)
- Ben Affleck as Batman and Bruce Wayne (anyone else just as excited to see him as Bruce as they are Batman or just me?)
- Amy Adams back as Lois Lane
- Batman's batsuit looks on early look like the best a Batsuit yet
- the fact the film is a sequel to Man of Steel and the true start to the DCU
- The teaser giving me the hope that Superman isn't gonna be pushed into the background in order to push Batman into the forefront
But BvS isn't the sequel to MoS - it's just the next movie in the DCCU. We'll eventually get a MoS2, but they wanted to first progress the entire universe, not just Superman's story.
Technically it is a sequel of sorts, my point is its the next story in Man of Steels world,". I know its not just Superman, tbh I find your response pretty pointless.
Yup, BvS is the sequel to MOS. The story follows right after it. The next Superman solo movie won't be a sequel to MOS. It will probably start its own story and bridge off whatever recent events.

Not pointless at all really. I just dont get it when people (not coming down on you specifically) say BvS is a MoS sequel when its technically not. You are right though that its the next movie in that universe, but its not a MoS sequel. Even when they announced the slate of DC films, they said theyd be working in a MoS sequel and a Batman stand-alone before 2020. I just recall many posters and other sites getting upset that Superman had to "share his sequel" with Batman...

I'm an uber MOS fan so I could say everything, but specifically I'm most interested in seeing the continuation of the story from MOS (Zack himself said it would be just that, making it a proper sequelt
And the expansion of the universe. The costumes are my favorite of any CBM, the actors are fantastic. The writing, from what others have said of Terrio, should be top notch, and Snyder and Fong together on a Superman and Batman film is like a dream come true.
Oh, and Zimmer. That's enough for now![]()
Yes it is pointless, what have you gained from it? Me calling it a sequel isn't going to change anyone's notion of what the film is about,
Technically it is a sequel, it's the next chapter in the universe set up in Man of Steel, continuing from the themes set in Man of Steel. Therefore I'm calling it a sequel.
Good listFor me, I simplified it to this: BvS = MoS with an Oscar-winning writer + Batman.
