Actually looks like he's posting it "sometime today" or tomorrow. He said that 7 hours ago and lives in America so someone please do the math.

New York EST is 10:09pm. If he lives in California or somewhere else on the West Coast then it is 7:09pm there.

Good to know. Just wish he would get with it already. Is he afraid that he is going to write an article and it will turn out to be false?

He says he wants to post it as soon as "responsibly possible". His cautiousness kinda makes me question his source

Guys, take some advice from the Batman/Superman forums.

90% of Latino Reviews scoops are ****ing ********. You'd have better advice looking at CosmicBookNews.

Ehh, they've definitely had a good amount of legit scoops. They've also had some junk. They do have their sources, and a lot of times they pull through for them.

We're kind of just a little bored. I see it as I would rather have an article with some "good news" that may be fake than nothing at all.

I couldn't understand that one. Is he saying LR called him to ask when he's posting the thing?

Here are some new BTS shots from ASM2 to break up the monotony:

wow, that takes me back, also that shot of Harry is cool...

Here's the thing tho, why would Marvel agree to deal that favors Sony? putting Garfield in Civil War (or any Marvel movie) would basically be one big giant advertisement for TASM3/TASM4! Marvel wants full creative over Spidey, and let's face it, they'd do a much better job with him than Sony ever could. (He's THEIR character after all, but that's not the point). Amy Pascal was actually willing to axe Garfield and reboot Spidey again! Sony was willing to play ball, but they wanted too much control over Spider-Man, Sony has shown that they don't know how to handle the Spider-Man character! TASM2 was **** to most people. Spidey was created by Marvel, he belongs at Marvel, but we know that's not going to happen, so the best thing we can hope for is that Marvel and Sony reach an agreement on Spider-Man, with Marvel in creative control.

Amy Pascal is going to be out next year and if Sony doesn't reach an agreement with Marvel, they'll probably reboot themselves and adapt Kraven's Last Hunt.
Spidey might be getting rebooted regardless.
You're right about Marvel not wanting to give Sony free publicity with Civil War. I dunno, I just wish the studios could have a better relationship. They do benefit each other after all. Just wishful thinking I guess. :csad:

As for "Marvel doing a much better job with Spidey than Sony ever could", I guess this is one of the major places we disagree, I don't believe that just because it's Marvel that they'd automatically do a better job than Sony has. After some of the things they've done to Peter in the comics the past few years, along with replacing the Spectacular TV series with the not-as-good Ultimate, I just don't know. I'm aware that the film studio is a completely different animal than the full Marvel, so I might just be projecting a bit here. I guess what I'm saying is that I don't think people should assume that the movie will turn out great or terrible just because of who's producing it (who knows what could happen, either studio has the chance to surprise us), though I completely understand why they do. Like I said, I may be a bit biased as I've liked the majority of Spidey films (from both series) more than most of the MCU. So take my opinions with a grain of salt. :oldrazz:

Also, do you have a source for Amy Pascal willing to replace Garfield? Not that I don't believe you, it's just that most of what I've heard is that she was very against it so I'd be interested in reading it.

Don't mention it.

I was on the same boat then. It was so hard for me to grasp the idea that SM3 was the last film of the OT, and we would be seeing a new Spidey already. Then I remember seeing Andrew in The Social Network and thought, "Okay, this guy has the acting chops for sure." After TASM1, I was onboard and believed we might have a fresh new direction and something worth exploring. It was really after repeat viewings of TASM2 where I genuinely gave up on this series and saw nothing but Sony's meddling written all over it.

Anyways, try not to stress too much since we haven't been given definitive answers. Just enjoy the roller coaster and make sure you stick around the boards. We've already lost some faithful members to the calamity.

That sounds about accurate with my experience with the reboot too, except I didn't really come around to it until waaay late. I think it was the second or third trailer that really impressed me and got me interested and from then on, I couldn't wait and the movie didn't disappoint. As for TASM2, even after seeing the film multiple times, I really don't love it any less than my first viewing. It's got it's problems, sure, but no movie is perfect and overall I'm still a fan.

Anyways, I'll do my best not to stress over any of it. And believe me, I'll be sticking around for the time being, I love you guys too much. :cwink: At least you guys don't mind hearing a differing opinion. :yay:

Wow. Despite how you may feel about the scene, that shot of Peter and his father in the graveyard is beautiful.

Some great shots there, thanks for posting them Marvel Spider. I love that view of Andrew looking over the city as well.

Yeah it's an amazing shot. If I were directing the movie there's NO CHANCE I wouldn't have used that.
