I'm gonna be honest, I used to want that so badly just so that we could see Spidey & Daredevil take on Michael Clarke Duncan as the Kingpin together.

That's only because Marc Webb was supposed to direct another film for Fox. They let him stay with Sony to direct TASM2 and in return he had to advertise their movie for free.

Also, maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not sure if Marvel would legally allow Sony to do a crossover with Fox.

I don't think they could, and yea ik, it was the only way they allowed Webb to do a movie for their competitors

Yes. I found Ashley Kafka to be a respectable character in the comics.

Now even if they wanted to turn her into a guy... fine. But why make him a German stereotype? Did Joel Schumacher direct his scenes, or...?
