The thing that gets me is Inhumans and Cap. Marvel in IW part 1... their movies don't come out until after IW part 1.

The Inhumans already exist in the MCU. We actually saw an Inhuman go through terrigenesis in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. not very long ago. That isn't unrealistic at all, essentially. As for Carol, multiple outlets have stated she'll be introduced before her film.

Three years is pretty typical a wait, so it isn't that big of a deal. That said, April 2017 is just sitting there waiting for a Spidey film. It's a pretty open month at the moment.

Which means, according to him, we won't be getting a Spidey film without marvels input from here on in.

As long as it isn't TASM 3. I don't want TASM to be a part of the MCU.

Just asking it, because some posters here made it out to be something terrible. I understand for fans of the character that you want to see another spidey film as soon as possible, but remember that quality's more important than quantity.

My dream scenario is New Spider-Man in 2017, IW in 2018

If it's true, we absolutely will. Interestingly, Steven DeKnight (Daredevil) has said he'd have loved to have been able to use Spider-Man in Daredevil, and there's talk that there could be a second season. Spidey could easily show up on Netflix. A post credit or mid credit scene is also a strong possibility. Don't rule out a solo film yet, either.

Totally agree with Eddie, this is all adding up for me. The scoop makes sense and if he wanted more attention he could have said the email was true, he'd have had the whole internet talking.

All the pieces are falling together now. I believe it's true.

I'd only be up for this scoop being true if Spidey gets a movie first.

I don't want his first appearance to be Infinity War.

If the report is accurate, it's a co-production. Spidey films likely won't eat up traditional slots in the Phase. IF (big if) this is accurate, I'd wager a Sony distributed Marvel involved solo film is on the way.
