Spider-Man 3 doesn't have a rotten rating, and it wasn't panned. Mixed to positive reviews, my friend.

Also, Spidey wouldn't work in the MCU anyway. Well, not this version of Spidey at least.
My bad, also why wouldn't this version of Spidey work In the MCU?
Dark Knight?
I said ONE of the highest rated CBMs (TDK was Amazing BTW :D ) Avengers is the highest grossing CBM of all time. the only CBMs that could possible top it are: Avengers AOU, Batman v Superman or Justice League (and/or it's sequels)

No it didn't. You're thinking of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man 3 has a fresh rating;

I'm pleased to say only TASM 2 has a rotten rating.
Again my mistake.

"News".

Technically a rumour, but whatever.

With the expansion of the Spider-Man franchise as a cinematic universe much in the vein of Marvel and the upcoming DC, Sony is ready to have the web slinger in theaters just about every year. But will the current Peter Parker be there to fight in the movies, or will someone else take over the role?

'Amazing Spider-Man' Star Talks Script Changes in Second Film

Cinema Blend posed six solutions to the Spider-Man franchise on Thursday heading into the third movie and had one potentially crazy idea: recast Peter Parker. The role is currently played by Andrew Garfield.

The site said that it wasn't that Garfield was bad, but his talent was being wasted and caged by this expanding universe that he didn't ask for when he signed up. They added that Garfield may have shown us all that he's going to show us in the Spider-Man suit. Some would say that the character needs to move away from the melodramatic fare that has bolstered - or, some would argue, weighed down - the Webb Spidey-verse.

'Teen Wolf' & 'Need For Speed' Stars Among New Mary Jane Watson Possibilties For 'Amazing Spider-Man 3'

This is a question that has been posed lately with the emergence of Miles Morales as the new Spider-Man in the comics. While Garfield has done good work, he is being trapped in an expanding universe of movies that he may not want to be apart of. He is still relatively young and probably wants to spread his wings with other roles and not be stuck as Spider-Man.

This would also allow a new hero to join the ranks and possibly be apart of the wave of new spinoffs that are on the way with different villains.

The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is set to open in theaters in 2018.

If they bring Miles Morales in as Spider-Man, I will laugh so hard.

Enstarz is a website that pretty much makes up alot of its articles based purely on that it happened in the comics, this isn't even a rumour

I seen the stuff they say about other comic book movie and it's pretty much just a lot of well is happened in the comics so it's gonna happen in the film and then it's proven to be wrong

I suspect fans would complain if there was more then one spider-man, it would probably be well it makes him look less important now

Morales should have been that kid in the burning car from the first film. Such a genius easter egg gone to waste. :csad:

Doesn't need to show one more Spider-Man.

Maybe some name reference or Peter could quickly met a kid that resembles Morales.

SMDH at people saying Miles is terrible.

Newsflash folks.

Well, in order to bring in Miles, they'd have to kill Peter...

Not that Peter seems to be dead in the Ultimate universe anymore, though.

Guys what do you think of this? http://m.christianpost.com/news/ama...a-stone-returns-for-2-possible-roles--126255/
Emma Stone could be back in the "Amazing Spiderman 3" movie. Though Stone's character, Gwen Stacy, fell to her death in the second installment of the Spiderman reboot, there are rumors that the actress could be back in the film due to popular demand.

Gwen's death will certainly give way for another love interest for Spiderman, specifically Mary Jane Watson. It is said that Stone could possibly portray the new role because Andrew Garfield, who plays Spiderman, allegedly prefers that his reel-screen love interest should be portrayed by his real-life girlfriend. Stone and Garfield have been dating for three years now.

However, another theory suggests that Stone will play another version of Gwen, as she returns from the dead and is resurrected as the villain Carnage. read more there

I would personally hate it! :cmad: they shouldn't recycle any actors or actresses. plus I've already had enough of Emma/Gwen for the time being (She was so goddamn annoying in TASM 2! and comics! I just never really cared for Gwen :o ) anyways having Emma/Gwen return from death would take away from the impact her death had in the first place IMO

They should look for new talent.. like say.. Karen Gillian or Jane Levy for MJ. I'd also be against Alfred Molina returning to play Doc Ock let's get some new talent in the series! so what do you guys think?

There are easier ways to bring Emma back. Dream sequences, hallucinations, plain-old flashbacks, etc. Having her play a completely different character would just be distracting. Oh and Sony, you want to build a "Spider-Man Cinematic Universe." Bringing in Miles Morales would be a really good start.

Yes to Miles! but do they own Miles? I thought Marvel had the rights to him?

Bring In a infinity gem that opens up another dimension where Gwen is alive in that dimension, but spidey is dead there. And spidey decides to stay in that dimension to be with Gwen.

And the Miles spidey comes to our dimension because we need a spidey.
