"**** you magic tricks" is going to become a meme.

For the first few movies, I'd prefer they stick to villains they haven't already used (Mysterio, Kraven, Vulture, Shocker, etc.) or villains we haven't seen in a long time, especially Ock.

Sounds good to me.

Do you think we could see an ending for The Gentleman character even without Webb at the helm? I know he was only in a few brief scenes.

I really don't think so. Wasted opportunity.

I'm not trying to promote Michael Massee in anyway however I reckon he may also be pretty pissed about losing out on a decent proper role.:cmad:

Don't see him in many big movies today.

Yeah, it would've been nice to see that. But, given how much Sinister Six was looking to suck, it's probably for the best.

I want at least one Spider-Man film set entirely in winter. Maybe a scene or two during Christmas.

I'm sorry, but with all the positive talk about Goddard, I'm not impressed. Is it not his idea to have Spidey team up with the Six, to fight a greater villain....i assume greater than the Six themselves? How in the hell is he doing anything different from the garbage that has already been establish; yet alone, better?

I don't get it...if that's what he plan to offer, he's no better that Avi & his stupid ideas. The Spidey franchise is an absolute mess.

Why are you talking as if S6 is actually going to happen?

The Sinister 6 movie is about as likely as Batman & Robin 2 coming out before 2015 starts. There's a possibility, it just probably won't happen.

If this comes back to bite me in the arse, I'm going to cry. Man tears WILL be shed!

Maybe it was Marvel that hacked Sony and Fiege is the one making up emails like the Goddard drivel so the fans riot if the Marvel deal doesn't go through.

I'm hoping for at least one movie where there's a villain that isnt some genetically modified whatever with some ridiculous grudge that doesn't make sense. Every spidey villain has sucked.

You just don't get the genius of Drew Goddard.

I seriously doubt it's going to happen as well. If Marvel and Sony don't make a deal I expect Drew Goddard directs a Spider-Man movie or is allowed to move on to another project.

He should have been Norman. Was really upset when he wasn't. I hope MS cast him as someone else.

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope Spider-man returns to Marvel this upcoming year with them having full creative control. No other Spider-man option will satisfy me.

I'm not saying it's going to happen...I'm saying this was his approach for the Sinister Six, which is garbage, that being the case. Therefore I'm certainly not impressed; and is following the same path of those that most are critical of. So explain to me, how his "said" approach is any different?

Everybody hated the idea of Spidey teaming up with the Six, to fight a bigger villain, in a proposed Sinister Six movie, that was suppose to be hailed by Goddard; yet, those same posters acting as if Goddard is the perfect choice...but this is what he had offered. LoL. :whatever:

That e-mail was embarrassing. I'm not saying I'm judging Goddard's entirety by that one e-mail, but it in itself it was cringe worthy. Not just the goofy ideas/concepts for S6, but the way it was written comes across like a fifteen year old gushing over something. Though it's not like Goddard's alone there since quite a few of the other leaked e-mails from the producers read in a similar fashion. Lots of gushing over ideas they've just thought up and very little common sense.

Lets not forget that Avi also suggested a love triangle between Peter-MJ-Doc Ock

This is incorrect. Go back and watch the 'behind the scenes' of SM2 again. The whole love triangle between a younger version of Doc Ock and MJ and Peter was written in a draft by Michael Chabon. I read that draft when it was available online for a short time. And more importantly, Avi was against the idea of having a love triangle with them. He clearly states this sentiment on the SM2 "making of" dvd.

The tone was good in ASM1 but the but the movie was undermined by the weak villain, clumsy origin and uneven pacing.

I agree.

Hey, no lying, that's Untitled Fantastic Four Reboot (since we don't even have a title for it...). :o
Unlike Sinister Six, I'm actually looking forward to that movie, so not really.

It doesn't exactly have "DISASTER" written all over it.
