How do we know the summit is January 19th? Is there a link confirming that?

That was the date in the leaked email. Obviously that date can change especially now the date is widely known.

All the articles I've found, including the Wall Street Journal's, just say January.

January 19th sounds like a date that someone guessed/thought they heard, and was then blown out of proportion as being the actual date. I don't think any of us know the exact date.

Sony plans to trade the Spider-man rights and partial Venom rights to Marvel in exchange for the rights to Hypno Hustler and the Santa Claus Burgler. They will then move forward in production on:
Avi Arad's Hypno Hustler v. Santa Burgler, set for release in 2016, followed by Avi Arad's Hypno Hustler vs. Santa Burgler 2: Venemous Boogaloo.

no, i didn´t see you, no...they can´t loose the contract that way, as far as i know they can loose the rights when they don´t use the rights for a long time (5 years i think) and that´s actually the reason the main reboot was born

It's from August of last year, before the other stuff we read, and is talking about how much certain key people working on Sinister Six, Venom and Amazing Spiderman 3 should all be getting.
