I think Agent Venom is a far superior symbiote story than venom himself.
Definitely. I much prefer Agent Venom.

I haven't really kept up with Agent Venom. I know he's with the GotG. How's that being received?
Yes, I like Carnage more. He is a really fun character who's only purpose is madness. Although I haven't read any recent stories with the character, anything since the 90s really. I will always have nostalgia for the Monster-Ock finale in the 2000 Spider-Man videogame. Awesome.

Any recommendation on where to begin with Agent Venom? I always wanted to get into that character but I'm not sure of which comics to pick up.Definitely. I much prefer Agent Venom.
Say what you will about SM3, but killing Harry Osborn is more notable than anything Venom ever did in the comics. Brock had a more personal and believable reason to hate Parker as well.
Such a fun game and an awesome way to conclude it.
I always found the idea of another classic villain (Ock, Green Goblin, Scorpion) acquiring the symbiote on film.
Speaking of this game, I'm still annoyed that a sequel to the second one was never made. There were still plenty of villains to be used in that continuity and Spider-man was still considered a felon at the end.
True. It felt like a loose adaptation of the 90s animated series. It was bright and colorful and did have this sense of adventure that a lot of other games seem to lack.

It's ok. I'm not the biggest fan of the current GotG run in general, but he's a surprisingly good fit for the cosmic level storytelling.
Good to hear. Wasn't sure on what to think about the addition, but I imagine it's more relevant to Venom than it is for Flash.

So If they introduce the symbiote and the black suit, do they have to introduce Venom? They probably will, but do they have to? Could they do the symbiote without introducing Venom? I think they can, but they probably won't.

I had seen some solicits for the issues. Liked the change in character design.
I'm not sure that was ever on the cards. Wasn't it always Vulture Raimi wanted to go with?
Imagine the story that could have been with Green Goblin showing up again and everyone thinking it's Norman. Of course you would have to get rid of Harry finding the layer at the end of SM2. Could have been an awesome story to tell there.

Conceptually the Venom in SM3 was fine. His storyline was just sort of crammed in and didn't seem to fit with the rest of the movie.

Venom is a more visually appealing villain instead of a villain of substance.
I've said this before. Venom should have included JJJ's son. Leaving him at the alter for Peter, is enough of a motive.
Lol, I meant the sequels to the Playstation video games guys. We did get Goblin in SM3.

I only played Spider-Man 2 on the Playstation. I would love a Spider-Man game that is much like the Arkham Batman games.
That hack needs to stop interfering with Spider-Man movies. All they had to do was introduce the symbiote costume in SM3 and tease Venom for the sequel. SM4 could have used Venom as the main villain and utilized him well. Oh well... what could have been.Thank Avi Arad for that.
We got New Goblin not Green Goblin!

Shattered Dimensions was their attempt at that, and it didn't even come close, IMO. The best Spider-Man game is still the PS1 ones, and Spider-Man 2.
I actually liked Venom's design in SM3.If Venom is ever used again, how would you guys want him to look?
