they both make sense in Suspended Disbelief
which one is more interesting for the character? probably mechanical because it not only shows peters smarts but it also gives him a vulnerability and also an advantage being able to adapt his webbing to a villain or situation
exactly. a lot of people compliment the TASM series for having the web shooter element, but they are barely there. a lot of web shooting of course but the mechanical part made almost absolutely no difference. if you include it you should at least have fun with it, especially when the previous & very successful series had organic ones
I would have loved to see him adjust his suit as well... One of my many hates for TASM 2 is that they didn't show us the transition from suits. It's like the first one never happened if you didn't see the first movie.sometimes the idea alone is better then how they handle the idea
the lizard did break his webshooters in TASM which was obviously to take that advantage away from him and i thought that was a nice touch
you could even say the idea of adapting the webshooters to electro was a good idea in TASM2 even if some were not fond of its execution
In the end Webshooters in the ASM films were fan service to those who moaned about organic webbing in the Raimi films.
I think mechanical is the way to go for the MCU, if that's even where Spidey ends up...Going by what Bendis said it seems it was way more split in opinion then lets do it for fan service

"Yeah, Ive gone in before," Bendis told Yahoo. "Theyve asked me in to be the deciding vote on some stuff, which is an odd experience as well. [Before Amazing Spider-Man], they sat me down in Amy Pascals office with this big roomful of producers and writers and directors, and she looked at me and said Organic webshooters or mechanical webshooters? I said mechanical, and half the table said, Goddamn it! They were mad because I was clearly the deciding vote, even though I didnt know that. So when I see the mechanical webshooters, I feel a little happiness. I feel like I did something good in the world.

Maybe they'll utilize it correctly.
Because it's been done, and by the sounds of how things went at Sony, almost happened again? Why do you even entertain thoughts of organic webs? The sooner we forget about it the better.
The Man of Webs confirmed, 2017 directed by Snyder.I'm really hoping WB buys the film rights to Spider-Man.
Personally, I don't care whether Spidey ends up with Marvel or not. I just want a good Spider-Man movie, whether it's from Sony... Marvel... anyone, I don't care.
Nobody wants to buy cancer, especially in the early stages.Sony cannot sell the rights to WB but WB could in theory acquire the rights of Spider-Man by buying Sony Pictures Imageworks.
Yeah, they just s*** the bed where it counts. In the last 11 years anyways... #SM1&2NeverForgetSony imageworks have done some of Marvel movies' animation , they are not bad...
I'm calling BS on this, I'm with the sentiment of Spidey going back to Marvel; but, this sound like "piling on" against Sony, to make them appear more inept, as we know they already are. In one paragraph, he goes from definitive to unsurity. Very opportunistic, piling on to me.
Let me clarify...I calling BS on Bendis...I think he's embellishing & seem to be opportunistically "piling on"....Sharks smelling blood with Sony. He went from being definitive to unsurity in the same statement.Sometimes a funny anecdote is just a funny anecdote. Sony is producing and airing a show based on one of his independent comics, doubt he wants to harm the studio.http://brianmichaelbendis.tumblr.com/post/105495930322/what-are-your-thoughts-on-sony-pulling-the
I don't know what's so unbelievable about that story. It's not so different from what we've seen in the emails.
