In all seriousness, stop looking for logic where there is none. It's a CBM, deal with it.

I think The Villian will be Mysterio and if that correct then that's the 3rd movie in a row I would have got the villian right when The Amazing Spider-Man was announced I said The Lizard will appear and after I finished watching that movie I said the next Villian will be Electro

The quipping in that scene fell flat for me. I thought it was more awkward than anything.

I could do without that whole car scene. Worst 1st reveal of a superhero in their origin film ever.

If they started with the bridge, it would have been better.

I dislike them because they just aren't as good as Raimi's or other CBMs when they can be.

For example, the villains in this series have been a major major downgrade especially when Raimi's GG and Doc Ock were so great.

I don't want to see them fail but it just isn't good or interesting. Oscorp creating everything, Peter and his parents. They are boring storylines.

I really liked the first one. The best Spider-Man movie ever made. The second one is really bad though. But it still better than raimi's movies imo.
I don't see no problem with the Lizard and Harry Goblin. They are pretty good villains.

Serious note, has anyone seen the amount of praise Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is getting? I think maybe Webb shouldn't have came back since the guy who did Rise didn't come back. Still a rebooted/prequel series that is getting critical acclaim and people think critics hate TASM series because it was a reboot.

Here's my thought. You want a good Spidey film? Stick to the old USM's. As I read the first few volumes of USM, it feels like a Spider-Man movie I would enjoy. Hell, even if they decided to bring Doc Ock in ASM3, I wouldn't be pissed if he was Ultimate based, (if they have Dr. Kafka come back, with his spine electrocuted, and give him mechanical Oscorp arms so he can keep walking and become a sinister six character who begins going nuts and calling himself "Otto Octavius," which wouldn't surprise me, I swear I will tear Avi Arad's cobweb right out of his oily head.) Have him with awesome arms, destroying nuclear plants and stuff all to find out "who did this to him," that wouldn't be too bad.

This whole, "lets blend ASM with USM mixed with a little bit of cartoon versions and then throw in some s*** we made up and then copy Raimi's best moments," crap is making me angry. Pick a storyline. (Ultimate would work best for a 21st century Spider-Man in my opinion, because that's what it already is. Hell, have Bendis write it, I'm sure he could make a nice Spidey film.) AND STICK WITH IT!!! Why is that so complicated for studios to find out? No need for pointless subplots, no need to cary on about Peter's Parker's parents. Focus on Peter, whos life sucks, putting on the mask and fighting the bad guy.

To be fair, PotA and TASM are different kettles of fish...

The apes series are very old now, I think they were made in the 60's/70's? They were mostly loved, then Tim Burton came along and took a proverbial ***** on the franchise, which opened them up to make a movie that was true to a movie from over 40 years ago, whilst better than the 2001 remake. I think rise felt like a more suitable reboot.

Raimi's spider-man was beloved by fans, one of the best CBM's in SM2, SM3 really isn't as hated by the GA as fans imply. To reboot that, it feels more like a cash grab.

Can you kind of see the difference?

And are you trying to tell they are bad villains because they don't have crazy amount of cheesy lines like Dafoe?
Critics don't hate the new series. They may not like the second one but the first film received mostly positive reaction from them.

Oh lol. I didn't like the gobin laugh in this movie it sounded to funny. Spider man 1 had a much better gobin laugh and a better costume. Ever thing else in asm2 was amazing though.
