I gotta say, watching War Horse, Jeremy Irvine would have also made a great Peter Parker.

Yup. They fall under that category as well as the ones who are for the reboot yet whine instantly at everything when its not exactly like they hoped and the ones who can't make up their mind and one day love the reboot and the next hope Andrew Garfield die in a ditch.

and yes, They probably have their tickets fandangoed already.

he's got silver bits on his shoes, SILVER BITS ON HIS SHOES there is no way i could ever bring myself to watch this movie!

or refusing to watch because of Andrew's hair..reminds me of those people who refused to watch Casino Royale because Daniel Craig has blonde hair..

I'll watch anything with spider-man. I've watched absolutely every single incarnation of him.

60's cartoon
70's live action tv
70's live action movies
80's spider-man and his amazing friends
80's spider-man cartoon
90's animated series
90's spider-man unlimited
00's MTV
00's live action movies - raimi triliogy
00's spectacular spider-man

the only incarnation I haven't watched is the italian spider-man and tht isn't official so doesn't count.
so I would watch a spidey movie regardless of who directed or starred in it.

actually I never saw the electric company 'spidey' but that never aired in the uk so I have an excuse

I hate that complaint with an unbridled passion.

For those who don't know, the shoes spidey has on are track shoes.

Particularly, Asics track shoes.

and the bumps on the bottoms are not suction cups. They are track spikes for traction while running.

Here's an article I wrote on CBM about it.

They ignored it over there.

Are you being serious or sarcastic?

Please say sarcastic....

if you're being serious...you sound like a prideful woman who won't date someone because of the shoes a guy wears.

Yeah, I think Batman is probably more popular at the moment considering there is a finale to the already successful Nolan movies coming this summer and two very good video games already out.

Agreed. Personally, I love Batman and Spider-Man equally, but for different reasons.

I'm specifically talking about the film incarnation....Spidey is #1 period, followed by Supes and the Hulk

Most of my other superhero favroites are Marvel, but my favorite DC characters are Superman and Batman. Marvel comic books have appealed to me more over the course of my life more than DC's did.

I agree. The DC universe isn't as interesting to me as the Marvel universe is. In fact, the only DC character I like is Batman, I don't even like Superman.

I've never liked Superman BUT I'm very interested in Man of Steel and think that film will make a fan out of me lol. Atleast I hope it will.

Definitely with you on that one. Man of Steel looks like it'll be pretty good. Well, here's hoping at least.

oddly enough my favorite DC hero is firestorm. I am only buying two comics from the rebooted 52 selection and that is justice league and firestorm. I kinda like batman and superman but no way am I a fan (that said I do own a lot of batman and superman trades)

Ahh, okay :highfive:

Spider-Man will always remain my #1 favorite, tbh.

Mine will always be Batman....I just like the fact that he's more human than any other big-named superhero. I bet I would like Green Arrow more if I knew more about the character. But, it's Batman for sure. Spider-Man and Superman are tied second and I honestly don't care for any other hero after that...I enjoy watching Iron Man and what not, but not a fan of him.

Film incarnation? Still Batman, lol.

I'm honestly not biased, because I feel Nolan has done a better job with portraying Batman than Raimi with Spidey. Raimi has done a better job than Burton/Schumacher though(I think '89 Batman aside from the other three films though...to me, Burton lost his touch on the character with Batman Returns).

Yeah, definitely Make Mine Marvel! X-men and Spider-man are my two favorites.

I love both Spider-Man and Batman, but Spider-Man is by far my favourite. Never really liked Super-Man, but I do like smallville, and Man of Steel does look pretty good.
