The people that blindly just hate this reboot and say that it's unnecessary, they forget how bad Spider-man 3 was and that Spider-man 4 was only gonna be worse. Even if this movie is just ok, I bet that it's way better than what Spider-man 4 would've been.

So, even though the changes in the costume weren't exactly needed, I would say that this reboot itself was necessary

I'm not against a reboot but there could definately have just recasted the prinicle cast and set it in the same universe. think bond before casino royale. what happens when garfield hits 35? reboot again? yay...

It's one of them decisions that always has a loss for them. Do they want an older actor who has more experience and is ultimately better, or a younger actor who lacks experience and is only okay? I don't know about you but I'd prefer the former. Plus, just because Garfield doesn't look like a high school student anymore once he turns 35, doesn't mean they have to do another reboot, they can always carry it on and go the teacher route, which imo would be a good thing because none of us have seen that version on the big screen as of yet.

The only thing that really works for sequels to be honest is to have the next one set in college and if they get to a third, as him graduating and being a teacher, and his adventures in that phase of his life.

the point is just carry on the series, the the actor isn't suitable then recast and move on. I'm okay with the reboot but I can TOTALLY see why there are a few people against it.

I don't know that studios can necessarily get the filmmaker they want without rebooting. You're asking someone to constrain their vision to whatever decisions have made over the course of three movies.

I'm seriously tired about seeing people badmouth ASM. It's everywhere I go on the internet, basically. Makes me sick. We haven't even seen Spider-Man in action yet.

I like Bane's look in TDKR.

If outlined, the open areas on the mask (the eye areas) sort of do look like the Spawn style eyes Bane's mask has in the comics.

Not to mention there's a muzzle-like quality about it, something that says it's caging the beast... because we all know that Bane in TDKR is ****ing brutal.

While it did bother me at first (and I still think there could have been a way of making him look a little closer to his comic counterpart) I have no problem with his look now in TDKR.

When Bane first started out, he was much more militant than looking like a luchador that you see in Batman & Robin, so...no, TDKR is much more faithful with using a more militant style.

Batman & Robin's Bane - green, looks like a Mexican wrestler, a petty and ******ed thug of Poison Ivy. NOT Bane in the slightest.

The Dark Knight Rises' Bane - militant, intelligent, quick, strong, wears a more guerilla-style mask and attire. THAT is Bane through and through.

Don't call out TDKR's Bane for looking stupid just because he's not using Venom or wearing a luchadore mask.
