I know you're mind cannot handle it.
No worries.
How am I supposed to react to this? Are you joking or...?

Yes, but he'll act more like Bane instead of the SchusnaabdbpiupUHabbababbadingdongmaker Bane who had less intelligence than a mentally handicapped zombie.
I love this emotion
James Bond - fantastic films with ****ed up continuity with the same M from two different "eras".
The Bond series was considered rebooted and a new continuity following Casino Royale, the first in the continuity, so...
Your argument is invalid
On a serious note though, Casino Royale was the first in a new continuity. 007 acheived Double 0 status at the beginnig of that film.
it's the same thing with ASM. reboot, new continuity right? Casting JK as JJJ would be the very same thing as keeping Dench as M.
Incidentally Simmons is the one man I'd support returning, just because he was that awesome.
In the bond movies, M, Monnepenny and Q were normally the same despite the guy playing Bond but putting Tobey and Kristin in the movies would be the equivalent of Sean Connery popping up in a roger Moore flick or pierce Brosnan having a cameo in skyfall. Things like that can take a viewer out of the reality a film is trying to create and that's not a good look
They could achieve much the same result by portraying JJJ as slightly less rough around the edges and more of a father figure type. It still comes down to "we're keeping this one actor who plays the leads boss because they're awesome."
Not trying to argue with you, it just feels like the same situation to me. And one that's irrelevant I guess since JJJ isn't even in ASM.
They've had people show up in more than one Bond film, most famously Maud Adams who was in a large supporting role in The Man with the Golden Gun and came back to play the title character in Octopussy and Joe Don Baker who was the main villain in The Living Daylights and Felix Leiter's replacement in the Brosnan films (Leiter was crippled in Licence to Kill).
My personal favourite is Walter Gotell who plays long time recurring character General Gogol, but was a high ranking SPECTRE agent in From Russia With Love.
There is no real need to do it. I'm just saying if they did, people wouldn't reject it.
I personally hate cameos...it takes me out of the movie. It's good for comedic moments like Stan Lee cameos but he's about the only cameo I tolerate because he is the Godfather but his roles sometimes go too far (SM3, FF2, TIH) and I roll my eyes.

Cranston is good at comedy but he can definitely pull of serious and angry. Plus he looks just like the comics JJ
I think he'd also make a good Gordon in the next batman film after TDKR.
