Man...I have never been this bored of an upcoming movie in my life. I just rewatched the teaser and didn't do anything for my excitement. I NEED this new trailer otherwise I might just lose it.

I haven't seen emma stone in a single movie, I doubt she is known to the general audience.

I really don't think so. I can even remember that I saw some of them before in somewhere. I dont think she is really IT girl yet. Maybe after TASM.

Time to interject some random discussion/speculation!

So, which fight scene are you guys MOST looking forward to? So far there is rumored to be three fights with the Lizard.

*Spoilers*

They are...

- The school
- The bridge
- On top of OsCorp

Personally, I'm excited for them all. I feel that if Lizard is executed correctly, like Venom should have been, then we can get some very memorable fights. Fights that go all over the place. Walls to ceilings etc.

I was watching the second season of Spectacular Spider-Man tonight. The episode was called "Identity Crisis". Venom confronts Peter at his high school and they have this epic brawl. All I could think of while the fight was going on was "How awesome this could possibly look on the silver screen". Granted sometimes things that are animated won't translate well to screen.

However, some of the set pieces incorporated could be very promising. For instance, when Venom and Spider-Man fight on the stair well, that would look so bad ass with the Lizard!

I'm hoping we get a better idea of fight scenes with the new trailer coming up.

Its funny you mention TSSM because I was watching the Lizard episode earlier today and I noticed how similar the Lizard in that movie was to what we so far expect from the lizard in TASM (looks wise; flat face from front view/snout from side view)


I hope the lizard is similar motion wise in TASM to that version.

You're reaching. Even from the front view it hardly looks anything like that incarnation of the Lizard.

If anything it looks way more like Frenz and especially Ditkos.

Easy A was a hit, Superbad was a hit, crazy stupid love, zombieland and the help was huge. That may be her biggest film yet. She's definitely the IT girl right now and well known by audiences. She's definitely the biggest name in the spidey movie as of now

It's all good man glad we agree t: I just can't wait for Andrew to blow up because he is a really good actor and would love to see him be able to go to work and be in more American films

Andrew is a very good actor and I also hope that he gets more work in American films. My only reservation is that he does good projects and doesn't end up being the lead in Die Hard 7: They Die Even Harder.

oh nah I agree with you..I was just saying as a fan of the series and of him, i wouldn't want it to happen..he needs to do, I guess more "intelligent" stuff. Die Hard is for an action junkie and I don't want him to be bogged down in man movies and action junkie stuff. I definitely want to see him do some comedy though

But it's the eyes I worry about the most. They say it's to show his character emote but I'm just not feeling it. He needs a pair of reptilian eyes stat !

Emotion can still shine through, this looks more like a cop out. There's tons of non-human looking things that show plenty of emotion and that we can sympathize with.

And yeah, he is reaching, the two look nothing alike.

People who have seen some footage say the eyes are more reptillian in the actual movie.

So The Lizard is Killer Croc. Wow, how things have turned. It's weird. I get that they seem to be going back to the Ditko Lizard, but it's funny how these days Lizard looks more Killer Croc-ish while Killer Croc looks like the Lizard now.

I like the Lizard's look in this. You can actually tell that there's some human in there.
