I like that we didn't get a raptor, and I like most of his look so far! But the eyes still kinda bug me

Good actors have to do those flicks to get their foot in the door in Hollywood though.

In Andrew's case he already has his foot in the door with several good roles already and now that HE'S Spider-man, he won't have an issue getting work. Unless of course the film blows donkey wang :yay:

RIM said that the eyes look threatning and almost inhuman in the actual movie so I'm not worried at all

Nor am I. However, I'm still waiting until I ACTUALLY see the lizard on film before I make any real judgement on how he looks. I'm not really paying attention to the toys and other pics.

So The Lizard is Killer Croc. Wow, how things have turned. It's weird. I get that they seem to be going back to the Ditko Lizard, but it's funny how these days Lizard looks more Killer Croc-ish while Killer Croc looks like the Lizard now.

Reptile from Mortal Kombat: Legacy looked more Killer Croc than TAS-M's Lizard, imo.

Batman wants BlackCat, Spiderman wants KillerCroc....so.

I'm certain Catwoman came first, if that's what VD is referring to.

I still say the best non human performance goes to King Kong in Peter Jacksons version.

A.) He didn't talk
B.) 90 percent CGI, and 10 percent motion capture
C.) 100 percent acted with expressions and eye functions.

So it's possible the lizard can be really emotive without being "human-esque"

Caesar is even better in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but it's pretty much a non-issue since it's the same actor/digital effects people a few years later, haha.

That's not a fair comparison. A ape's face is almost just like a humans as far as emoting goes, so its not hard to have that type of face emote.

For a Lizard with a long snout and, if you know biology, not very many facial expressions, its a bit harder.

They did the right thing by making his face more human but reserving a lot of the lizard features such as the pointed teeth and elongated jaw line which, from the side, resembles a snout.

Yeah, an ape isn't human-esque at all :whatever:

I was about to mention Rise before you did. That was a really good movie, anyone who hasn't seen it should do so.

I wonder what would have happened if Spider-Man 4 had Black Cat(the smart choice) and not the Vulturess while TDKR had Catwoman...like, I wonder what the flame wars will be about to compare the villains, lol.

Well considering that, I don't think Nolan would have considered putting Catwoman in TDKR at ALL had that happened dut to the instant comparisons it would get.

But who knows, maybe it would have all wokrd out the same.

Honestly though, TDKR and SM4 would have been released a year apart so, outside of fanboys, I don't think there would have been much comparing considering that black cat, despite having cat in her name, doesn't really have a cat themed costume or cat-esque fighting style like Catwoman.

There will be a bigWAR between Spidey and Batman fans. Grrrrrr.

I actually think that fanboy will compare between them to find out which one of them is more hotter. :o

Gimmie dat

Give you what? Soft Porn? NOT what I want in a Spider-Man movie.

They're both hot. The only battle I want to see is one that involves both of them oil wrestling.

See that right over your head. That's the joke flying right over.
