Looks great. I love the shot of Lizard coming out of the water. Very reptilian in movement and incredibly creepy.

Also glad to hear Connors is NOT being played as a villain in the true sense of the word.

It probably is. Marc Webb said they were continuously working on the Lizard effects way up until release date.

They're probably even working on it right now as we speak. t:

His arm SHOULD look gross. If it came out PURRfect... that would be cheesy.

Me and you both, although I loved the Venom birth scene, unfortunately it went downhill from there.

Here's hoping they will "right" that "wrong" down the line. A good omen seeing how they are treating the Lizard.


Edit: (off topic a little) I really LOVE that shot of the young Peter looking out the window that transitions into modern day Peter reflection in the glass. Really good!

No, The sequel to TASM will have Green Goblin as main villain, as GG is like what Joker is to Batman.

Sam Rami took inspiration from Donner's Superman movies template and Mark Webb is taking inspiration from Nolan's Bat movie, expect Green Goblin to be in the TASM 2.

I expect Venom to be in TASM 3 (just as Bane , who is physical match to Batman is in TDKR.)

Lizard for TASM, Goblin for TASM2, and Venom for TASM3 would be a dream. Maybe add Shocker or Electro as a side villain. Kinda like Scarecrow was in TDK, just a little cameo or something.

Considering Oscorp is established and plays a major part in the plot I would jump on the bandwagon to say Green Goblin will happen...just when is the question. Second or third film. Venom...as much as I would want to see him redone...I doubt we will see him in a Spider-Man movie anytime soon. Eddie Brock maybe...but no Venom.

The new footage looked great but it still seems like they aren't done with the CGI and Special FX . that tail thing looked pretty bad. Lizard looks great. Huge and terrifying which is perfect.

lol No, not really. Where's is your proof on this. Andrew Garfield himself said they weren't copying the Dark Knight, or else it wouldn't be Spider-Man.

And your reasoning is entirely false. You state Venom will be the physical match in ASM3, when we already have one in this...
