Better yet, their FIRST movie nominated for Best Picture?

Dunno. Who? I don't pay attention to tacky awards shows because they mean absolutely nothing. If the argument you're putting forth was true, then we could say that Roberto Benigni is a "better" actor than Leonardo Dicaprio because he won a gold statue.

I hope they go with a suit but I think they'll go cross-species. After all, storywise that makes the most sense I guess.

Edgar works better with more comedic flavored movies. Abrams is good at revitalizing things. Webb is good at smaller character moments and romance. It's not really fair to say Wright is better than Webb considering Webb's only directed 2 movies, and one of them was acclaimed, and the other still recieved mainly positive reactions. TASM2 could really help his slate and gain him a lot more respect if it turns out really good.

Yes. The editing killed this movie. As I was watching it I keep thinking to myself "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???" Not only in terms of cutting out important pieces of information, but some of the frantic, rushed editing really work against the film as a whole.

Don't forget though, that Webb was working right alongside the editor to bring us the final result we saw in the theatre. So although he might've been mandated to bring the runtime down lower and lower, he made many of the choices to excise what he did.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if Scorsese was a good director before he won his Oscar a few years ago- but now that he won, I know he is.

This is from the other day, off-set. As you can see, Andrew still dresses like he did in TASM. So maybe we'll get a mix of both the old style and new style. As you know, the new style is also pretty much what he wears in real life.

Lol no. He's acting like a fish out of water because it was stated that it was his first time in that building and he was lost and curious, and in awe of the size.

Not every reaction has to do with his past with Harry. Just because he knew Harry when he was younger doesn't mean he's been to Oscorp.

Yah, still going with it's silly that Peter knows nothing about the name OsCorp or Osborn it seems from the film when he was friends with Harry, lol.

I hated "Scott Pilgrim" but Wright's other movies are good. I look forward to "Ant-Man" after seeing the teaser he made for Comic-Con.
