Did anyone else think the music was perfectly intertwined with this footage? Just awesome stuff on every level. Thanks to DVR I'm watching the thing a few more times.
A scene of Peter swinging onto the bridge. He takes off his clothes, revealing his costume. The lizard shreds some stuff on the bridge. Peter webs the cars falling off the bridge. A man says that his kid is still in the car. Spidey swings over there and the kid is scared. Spidey reassures him to not be afraid, and that he's a normal guy by taking off his mask and throwing it into the car. The car is about to fall into the water and Spidey hangs onto it with one of his webs. The car is set on fire and Peter tells the kid to put on the mask so that it will make him "strong" and climb out. The kid does it as the flames engulf the car. Peter lets go of the car and webs the kid out. He has his mask back on and brings the kid safely to his father who asks him, "Who are you?"Description of what happened anyone ? It is killing me !!!!
Some of the CGI and Green Screen work in that scene definitely looked....odd. The rest of the clip look great though. Plenty of Spidey poses!

Really like the clip. When Spidey first took his mask off I was kind of like "oh, no here is another mask-less scene" then when he used the mask to give confidence to the kid I was like "yeah".
Any automotive experts in here? Does anyone know if a car could realistically catch fire like that from the headlight?
Just curious.
Yeah, it basically was an extended version of what the recent trailer, but that entire first minute or so completely sold me.
That part with the kid wearing the mask was pretty powerful stuff ("Put on the mask. It's gonna make you strong."). It really does reinforce the idea the Spider-Man, the mask especially, represents that pretty much anyone can be a hero, no matter the age, gender or race. It's not just about the powers. It's about doing whatever is necessary to save others, even if it means putting your life on the line.
That, to me, is why Spider-Man, out of all the comic book heroes, resonates so well with me. He's just another guy just trying to do good.
Nice, that bridge scene with C. Thomas Howell's character and his son was really great.
I think it would look better in 3D, because movies tend to be a bit darker in 3D.Some of the scenes looked too bright, at least in the online version. I sure hope they fix that in the movie. Sometimes the best cgi can look really bad when the scene is too bright.
I'm loving the vibe of the film though. July 3 can't come soon enough!!!
