Yeah pretty much.

The main reasons I want to see the next trailer is to see how good/bad of a job they did with the effects for the web slinging and to see the Lizard in action.

The costume though is such a misfire.

I don't see how the costume is a misfire. Sure its overly busy in some areas and seems incomplete in others but I think that's what makes it great.

It looks like something a nerdy kid through together in his bedroom (materials used aside).

They are adding some functionality to the suit by having sneakers (which is waaay better than just having a sock with a thin sole on it) integrated in the suit.

The shoes they chose though (Asics track shoes) happen to have silver, white, and blue trimmings.

Indeed, though, I want to see the traielr for a lot of other reasons as well. The main reason I want to see the next trailer is because I want the next trailer to be awesome.

If the very first photo of an unmasked Spider-Man and this new one are from the same scenes (I'm guessing at the end), then maybe Peter fights Lizard in the sewers at the end? His hair is high and mighty in the new photo and it's flat and wet in the first photo.

I also hope J. Jonah Jameson doesn't hate Spider-Man for the sake of hating Spider-Man but actually has a backstory like the 90s Spider Man where his wife was killed by a masked man.
