I hope they keep him out of every Spider-Man film series...
Even better.

I hope they keep him out of every Spider-Man film series...
...Not gonna lie, I was waiting for that to come up.
It has nothing to do with race. Miles could be white, Asian, he could be a damn alien from Mars... but I just don't want to see anybody apart from Peter Parker's Spider-Man onscreen.
so u would also NEVER want to see Spider-Man 2099 on screen? You'd never want to see Ben Riley or Kaine on the big screen?
And it's hard not to appear racist if u don't like Miles. Majority of ppl are fine with sooo many other different spider-Man other than Peter, but all of s sudden Miles Morales shows up and everybody loses their minds
The difference is that Peter Parker had to die for Miles to take over. I'm bitter about that.
And to be honest, with the exception of Spidey 2099, I don't want to see Ben Riley or Kaine onscreen.
While the whole death of Spider-Man/Miles Morales storyline would be very interesting to see on the big screen, it's not something I want to see anytime soon. He's started to grow on me in the comics, that's about it. He doesn't deserve his own movie franchise just yet. There's still so many villains and storylines from the mainsteam/Peter Parker version of Spider-Man's life that I want to see onscreen before Miles.
I don't see the point of being bitter. it's not like the regular/normal peter Parker got killed, just the ultimate universe.
I personal was upset and cried but ultimately(no pun intended) embraced the idea of a new Spider-Man before he actually debuted (when he was first announced) Especially since i was a kid i always wondered what would happen if Spidey ever died, or if Peter Parker couldn't be spider-Man anymore, what would happen? how would NYC react and who would take up the matle?
And when u really think about it Spider-Man 2099 is no different. That far into the future you know damn well Peter Parker is dead, thus, make room for Miguel O'Hara.
Ultimate Spider-Man made it a little more personal by allowing us to see Peter Parker die at the hands of his arch nemesis, and it was really profound cause Peter was the Uncle Ben to Miles Morales. if Miles would have embraced his powers when he first got them he prob would have met Pete early on and could have helped him in his final battle against Goblin.
Really cool!
edge of time would beg to differI don't see the point of being bitter. it's not like the regular/normal peter Parker got killed, just the ultimate universe.

All this hate on Miles Morales is making you all look REALLY racist.
Being white ****ing blows. I can't not like a character/person of another race without being labeled as a racist.
I know he didn't use the emoticon, but I'm sure he was being sarcastic. I hope so.
Being white ****ing blows. I can't not like a character/person of another race without being labeled as a racist. Regardless of the reason.
I don't even know anymore. I've been called racist so many times because of my dislike for Miles Morales.

I really do dislike this point when it's used to defend the decision to kill Peter off.
I'm not as into the 616 comics as I am into the Ultimate comics. Ultimate Peter pretty much was my regular/normal Peter.
Lol, well it was pretty sad. :P
Well, yeah. It was a bit of a safe move on their part to do this to the Ultimate version and not the 616 version. Not gonna lie, it's... interesting to see a new Spider-Man but I'm not happy about the fact that Peter had to die for them to introduce Miles. I said this before, they could have easily had both coexisting.
Yeah, that's years in the future though. It's not as cheap as killing off Peter in order to make room for a new Spider-Man. It may not have been that, but that's what it felt like to me.
Yeah, I'm glad that they at least decided to have his death be at the hands of the GG.
Has Miles even met Peter? And yeah, that's my point. Well, something similar. Peter didn't need to die for them to make room for Miles. They could have had Peter out of action in the final battle, then have had Miles coming in to take over while Peter recovered. When Peter had recuperated, they could have given Miles a spinoff series.
there is a mini-series in June coming out called SPIDER-MEN which is widely believed to be a story where somehow Miles will meet 616 Peter

I think they'll be bringing Ultimate Peter back, seeing as how those are Ultimate Peter and Miles' costume logos.
I'd be ok with Miles being the Ultimate universe's version of Scarlet Spider (even if they don't call him that) and having him and Peter team up.
I can tell u right now it's not Ultimate Peter. Bendis already confirmed this and he said Ultimate Peter is staying dead
Oh he did? My mistake.
Although to be fair, comic book characters rarely stay dead for very long.
