"Celebrated mess." Is that in a "chaos is good (Joker)" kinda way, or "I'm so confused, this movie blows" kinda way?

Like SM3, people love to talk about how awful it is. That's a Celebrated Mess, lol.

Oh, well, It's too bad you don't like it.

Your idea was so much better...

I would like to see Scorpion, perhaps as the pawn of a mastermind.

I don't care for the characters Mysterio and The Vulture, I don't think either of them should ever be in a Spider-Man film.

You don't care for near everything Spider-Man. It's getting harder and harder to believe you are a fan...

So I'm told, but I am. Certain characters won't click on film.

So who will? Seems the only people who you think will work are Doc Ock, Green Goblin and Lizard. Everyone else would be too "hokey"...

I think that, given the right role, most villains could work on screen. Not every villain would work as a lone villain or the main villain, like Rhino or Scorpion, but I think that they could work as cameo appearances or as the pawns of a mastermind.

Mysterio wouldn't work as a main villain. He's pathetic without his illusions. The final battle would be painfully embarrassing to watch unfold. While I agree the buildup to said battle would be awesome, without knowing what is or is not real, but the revelation of Quentin Beck as the great Mysterio? No thanks. I've always hated Quentin Beck.

green goblin would have to be next he is his arch enemy

Mysterio dons't need to be explained thats what is so great about him. Thats like saying tony stark can't build things like his iron man suit. all you need to know is there that good at what they do.

There is absolutely no connection between Iron Man and Mysterio.

The fact that Mysterio is just a guy who knows his special effects is an important part of his character, if you lose that aspect and turn him into this nameless... mysterious, entity, he's not the Mysterio we know at all.

Chameleon could be a great villain for a thriller with his ability to disguise himself to escape from the authorities and Spider-Man. Anyone else like this idea?

Yes.
Another idea I had considered before was that the Chameleon should be able to fight and kick ass like Jason Stathman does in the movies, so only Spider-man could stop him.

Well, I was thinking he should focus on evasion using his talent for disguising himself.

My concern was that they would try to make the Chameleon like Scarecrow in Batman Begins, when I'd prefer him to be more like Henri Ducard.

I've also thought it would be way sweet to have Hobgoblin be a very small side villain for a few movies, and build up the suspense on who he is (like the comics) and then in movie 3 or 4 unmask him

Wait...what?

What do people see when they see Henri Ducard?
A strong powerful man that you think twice about messing with, a man that can defend himself. As oppose to
Scarecrow, less strong, if caught by police with out the fear gas would be defenseless. In the comics, the Chameleon was supposedly beaten by Mary Jane with a baseball bat. Thats no good. I’d like the Chameleon to be better than that.

:yay:

Ahh, I see what you mean now. I agree, I'd like all of Spidey's on-screen villains to be very formidable.
