I think it's safe to say it's pretty unanimous the red and blue in this movie are better than in Raimi's?
I especially love that they had no choice but to make it such high-bright colors, because of the camera they were using.
Plus, this is the only superhero film next year that was actually FILMED in 3D.

And with brand-new technology, too!
So, let's break it down:
More practical effects
Brighter costume colors (although the design itself is fair to argue if it's good or bad, it's definitely brighter)
FILMED in 3D, for once
A lead that actually resembles a teenager
A villain that the fans really, really wanted to see
A moderately popular, but very talented actor that is a big fan of the character
A director who's directing resume, while short, is not bad
What may/may not be actual chemistry between the male and female leads (but that's debated, but if it's true, then
