I totally agree with you on that, and picturing your post in my mind already came across better than what we ended up getting

Not to mention., electricity is a symbiote weakness isn't it? (I had also thought throwing in shocker as a throwaway villain would have been a great way to show the black suits weakness against sonic vibration, thus him utilizing it later to defeat venom

Which is why I liked the original proto, it showed more of his face than the power ranger villain reject. Also.... if the lenses looked like the classic Alex Ross design (basically the eyes are clear yellow goggles) and you can see his real eyes. That would have helped and added alot

Hell yeah, Alex Ross' design for Green Goblin was pretty badass, I don't see why they didn't run with that, I liked the medieval look, that "armored" look didn't really do it for me, aside from the mask, that was cool looking. But yeah, Ross' Goblin and glider were pretty good looking.

I'm surprised you didn't like his Green Goblin design, the Spidey one I can understand, but I though his Green Goblin one was pretty cool, not exactly like the comic, but in a sense, it was a homage. The X-Men concepts were an eyesore, words can't even explain how much I disliked those designs.

With all this symbiote talk, TBH, i'm not really a big fan of the symbiotes anymore but I wouldn't mind seeing Beenox's take on the symbiotes in the film verse.

Seriously, we need a break from the symbiote storyline. Between the video games, movie, animated shows...I'm just tired of it. There's way too many good storylines and villains for that matter in Spidey's lore. Something else please.

Ahhh got it. Yea id doubt it, but who knows? I personally hope we get to see the 'Death of Gwen Stacey' "arc" throughout these movies. Introduce Norman in the next film, goblin him up in the 3rd and kill Gwen. Awesomeness.

Oh absolutely. I'm hoping the movie is heading towards that arc and it seems Norman Osborn, GG, will be hinted at during this first movie. I'd expect to see him in all his glory in the 2nd installment.

Personally I don't have anything against the symbiote storyline. I just think it's been way over done and needs to take a rest.

Personally I thought the [Green Goblin] mask they showed recently just looked awful and goofy. Plus I always assumed that concept art was a more armoured look, but then it looked like it was in silhouette. I'm just not a fan of the smurf hat look.
