List of women you don't try to date

1)Strippers
2)Waitresses
3)any girl that works at Wal-Mart...unless you work at Wal-Mart then it's ok

she said she liked my braces even... the only other person who ever said that to me was my grandma!! Yesterday though, she sat down next to me, and we talked for awhile... it was kinda slow in there, but if she wasn't interested, why would she sit down next to me... she even called me cute... no girl has ever told me that before

Actually no. I just recorded alot of the movies off the tv and such, but thats not the issue of the movie. But the features. No one cared about features back in the 80's much. They didin't ever put them on vhs.

Its just they could put the features on the regular dvds, but they don't care. They just want to screw over the people who buy on a regular basis.

And as of late i'm not buying dvds as soon as they come out. I just wait now until they go on sale preused at this local video store I go too. I fugure why pay 19.99 when I can wait a few weeks and onl;y pay 7.99.

Hey...settle down...you are not obligated to have "special features"...when the DVD format first got started there weren't even features, just the movie, scene selection, and the theatrical trailer....things change....deal with it

I'm always wary of "used" copies for what I stated earlier how some of my older dvd players can't handle scratched versions of things.

It's funny I have an older tv and I have a much newer dvd player. I have to connect that dvd player into the audio/video jacks of the older dvd player in order to play movies from Netfix. (Yes I could play them on the blu-ray player but that's in the living room and the other one is in the bedroom.)

One is to a regular tv, the other is to the plasma screen. I don't think the tv is the issue as I went to my friend's house and she had a little dvd player attached to a flat screen and the dvd was skipping on hers too.
I was more referring to whether or not it is worth it to have a blu ray dvd player if you just have a regular tv. Does it still look just as good?

A lot of my blu-rays are under $20.00. I think some can go as high as $25? Watchmen is $24.99 on Amazon.

I'm looking at some prices now. The last DVD I bought was Appaloosa at Wal-Mart. It was $13, I see it's $22 for the Blu-Ray. But I also see they have The Spirit for $22, while the regular is $18, which is not too far off. $22 isn't bad for a newer release.

Hmm... maybe I'll consider buying one then in the future. Right now I'm looking to buy a Wii thiough. Anyone have an idea on where I could find a good deal? I was thinking of looking at a few pawn shops but I'm not sure if it'd be worth the risk of buying a used one.

It's like getting mad at Sony or Microsoft by having better stuff with their PS3 and 360 games then the PS2 and regular X-Box.

To be honest, I'm not sure what you're talking about JAL. I have bought plenty of DVDs in the past and they have some really great special features. New DVDs still do. What kind of features would you like to see that are not currently there on DVDs?

i remember the snapper cases...and some dvds you had to turn around half way though the film...man those were the days..

I find a lot of special features aren't that great anyways. I do love me some DVD commentary though.

Tomorrow is a big day for you. :o
how do you know that?

looks like too much for me... I haven't seen a movie that was rated R yet...

I'm talking about how some dvds only have a couple short featurettes and a couple deleted scenes. No commentaries, no trailers, no tv spots, no behind the scenes stuff.

JAL is 28 going on 82. It's like you have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the present. LOL

Congrats. I think you have to escalate this and ask her out. Definitely give her your cell and house numbers just in case.

Oh I see. Well it's not much of a difference. The main features have to do with Blu-Ray technology and there may be one or two featuretts that are not included in the DVD but are in the blu-ray. Plus, I doubt many people would care about the special features for Friday the 13th (with the exception of you, of course).

isn't that up to the studio to decide what goes on there?

you haven't seen die hard?

no sir... growing up I wasn't aloud to see anything more then a rated G movie, and sometimes a PG film.... when I turned 18, I never really had any desire to see anything... I've seen very few PG-13 films too....

I used to watch PBS alot growing up,
