Captain America is my favorite MCU film, I love the whole feel of that movie, only nitpick I ever had with it was I thought Bucky died to soon, all the other flaws are flaws but flaws that didn't really bother me all that much.

Had Marvel not forced that epilogue, I think that film would've been in my top five all time of this genre.

Perhaps you'll have a different opinion on TFA after you've seen The Avengers.

Howlett, I would go ahead and pull the trigger on making Cap a top 5...just disregard that last scene and mentally play it out in your head "just" before seeing Avengers so it fits better for you bro. It's def in my top 5 (Evans is CAP through and through and I can't wait for Red Skull to show up again!)

Been chilling in the NolanFans.com Avengers forum. Its been really fun reading reviews from people who were total skeptics going into this movie, some quite annoyed at all the attention TA has been getting, and after seeing the Avengers are blown away. Good stuff.

Nah, just as was the case with Inception and TDK before it, once the movie's out and the positive buzz settles in, the Avengers backlash will inevitably kick-in, and the TDKR hype simultaneously kicks in to overdrive. Thus begins phase two of the Nolan/Batman vs. Whedon/Avengers geek war. Calling it now.

From 69 to 71 its going up 7 reviews
Time magazine review is a rave 80 so not mixed review like some people suggested here but whats so fasinating is comparing the avengers reviews to the best cbm (iron man dark knight).

Those reviews make perfect sense given the subject matter. Referring to my above post, I am absolutely shocked how well-reviewed TA is in France. If anyone speaks french or dutch or german etc feel free to fill us in on the reviews.

I love how they gush about it being the ultimate superhero movie then add this line ..... The Avengers Assemble is quite possibly the most fun, the most exciting and possibly the most thrilling film you will see all year this side of Prometheus and The Dark Knight Rises.

So best thing eva .... except for when the next couple of movies beat it. Talk about hedging bets!
