This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]528175[/split]
Agents of SHIELD is more widely available given it is broadcast on television. It wouldn't be hard for someone to catch up before seeing Infinity War.This season AOS averaged a little over 2 million viewers per episode. That puts it squarely in CW territory, if not lower. In contrast, AOU sold 56 million tickets in North America, The Avengers sold 76 million, CW sold 46 million. AOS's ever-diminishing viewership is nothing compared to the pop culture saturation attained by the MCU films.
.
To me, including stuff from the TV side of things is no different than making comics references.
Difficult to read, if it is all about AOS...
Can`t you stop this please... "nobody" needs AOS...
By the way... Chris Hemsworth was today at Monaco for the Formula One race...
I like Agents of SHIELD, but there doesn't need to be any appearances from any of them in the Infinity War movie. It's 100% likely that there will be a total of zero TV characters in either Avengers movie.
You keep saying that but nobody is gonna make a movie where you have to watch four seasons of a TV show beforehand just to see it unless it's an actual continuation of said series. That's a ludicrous time commitment given you're already being asked to be familiar with the prior movies.
If they do put in the TV characters the Defenders are the ones people want to see anyway.
So.....what does everyone think will be the next official piece of news to drop about this movie? Would be nice to talk about something else other than AOS for a change
Feels terrible that we're likely gonna have to wait until at least October for a trailer or poster.![]()
Well AoS established that Johnny Blaze exist and gave Reyes the abilities. I have a feeling a Netflix series would center around the more popular Blaze. Reyes would show up every now and then.the most likely crossover is Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider having his own Netflix series, but even then that would cause a lot of questions.
^I mean the Easter egg was part of the GOTG mythos while AOS are mostly characters made for the show. When it comes to Marvel history these things aren't comparable.

Given that I think they'll still be filming IW by then, I get the feeling that Thor 3 and Black Panther will be the bigger focus when it comes to trailers and panels.Uh Comic con and D23 is in less than 2 months.
Sneak peek footage at Comic-Con and D23 typically doesn't get released to the public, correct?

You're looking at this backwards. The onus is not on the viewer, it's on the studio. Their job is no make an Infinity War movie that the maximum number of people can enjoy and will want to see. Their incentive to punctuate the movie with a Coulson reveal and/or force the audience to watch episodes of Agents of SHIELD beforehand is simply non-existent. They have absolutely no reason to do what you want to them to do, which is why they're not going to do it.
